Crops in Hilham are not looking well.

Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Qualls and daughter, Willie, spent Friday night with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wolf.

Emogene Cooper spent last week-end with Pearl and Hassle Winton at Okolona.

Leta Smith, of Wirmingham is visiting Lucile Hinds.

Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Hill visited Mrs. Hill's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Dishmand over the week-end.

Mrs. Bill McCormick is out again.

Farmers in Happy Hollow have been blessed with splendid rains.

The little son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gore is much better.

Mr. and Mrs. Benton Deck were in Liberty last week.

Joe Carr and Coe Garrett are running their threshing machine.

Corine Reid is spending a few days in Kentucky.

The road between Hilham and Hardy's Chapel is being re-rocked.

Mrs. Willie Hammock and Mrs. Frank Gore visited Olon Presley Friday.

Mrs. W.D. Carmack is showing no improvement.

Will Hembree is working on his dwelling.

A canning factory is in operation at the Hilham school building.

Crawford's Mill is an ideal place for swimming and picnicking.

Stanley H. Carr visited on Flatt Creek Sunday.

Mrs. Sallie Eldridge is sick.

Mrs. Matilda Daniels of Knoxville, is visiting her brother, Joe Bob Eldridge.

Mrs. John Christian and Lurlent Carr visited Mrs. Johnie Poston last Monday.

Emmett Wilborn is in Kentucky visiting his brother.

Arthur Ashburn of Oak Grove was in town last week.

Mrs. Scott Allred visited her brother, Jim Carr, of Falling Springs, last week.

Lucile and Dorothy West were in Monterey Tuesday.
