Sophie Jane & Luke Braden Linder

Eddie and Kaylan Linder proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Sophie Jane, left, and their son, Luke Braden, who were born on Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

She weighed 4 lbs. 9 oz. and measured 18.75 inches in length. He weighed 5 lbs. 5 oz. and measured 19 inches in length.

They are the grandchildren of L.B. and Deanna Linder of Alpine, Carol Walker of Moss, and Randall and Debbie Walker of Celina.

 

Seth Aaron Speck

Terry and Kelly Speck, of Sparta, proudly announce the birth of their son, Seth Aaron, who arrived June 27, 2004.

He weighed 6 lbs. 6 oz. and measured 20 inches in length.

He is the grandson of Hugh and Elizabeth Mulkey Jr. of Chattanooga and Cordell and Jonell Speck Jr. of Rickman.

 

Cole Lyndon Wilson

Jason and Melissa Wilson, of Livingston, proudly announce the birth of their son, Cole Lyndon, who arrived June 24, 2004, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

He weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and measured 20.5 inches in length.

He is the grandson of Roger and Joyce Wilson of Livingston, Janis Bilbrey of Livingston, and Ronnie and Judy Reagan of Allons. His great grandparents are Agnes Wilson of Monterey and Ova Reagan of Allons.

Also welcoming home the new arrival was his big sister, Jessica Marie.

Weddings

Miss Starnes and Mr. Phillips exchange wedding vows May 29

Miss Stacie Denise Starnes, given in marriage by her father, became the bride of Mr. Benjamin Harold Phillips on May 29 at First United Methodist Church in Livingston. Her grandfather, Rev. W.L. Wallace Jr., of New Albany, MS, officiated the double ring ceremony, assisted by Rev. Craig Green of Livingston.

The bride is the daughter of Harry and Rachel Starnes of Livingston.

The groom is the son of Harold and Kathy Phillips of Rickman.

Martha Sue Bonner, of Cookeville, performed musical selections for the ceremony on organ and piano.

Serving as maids of honor were Beth Smith, of Madison, IN, and Lindsay Looper, of Rickman. Bridesmaids were Brooke Clinton, of Baxter, and Julie O'Neal, of St. Louis, MO.

Andy Looper, of Cookeville, served as best man. Groomsmen were Kyle Bradley, of Monterey, Joey Henry, of Cookeville, and Luke Starnes, of St. Louis, MO. Ushers were Rick Phillips, of Rickman, Brad Swafford, of Monterey, and Brad McNeal, of Monterey.

Scriptures were read by Dan Smith, of Livingston.

After the ceremony, the couple greeted their guests, who then proceeded to the reception in the Family Life Center of the church.

 

 

 

Engagements

Miss Thrasher and Mr. Hughes to exchange wedding vows Sept. 18

Miss Nicole Leigh Thrasher and Mr. Patrick Douglas Hughes proudly announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of David and Beverly Thrasher of Livingston, and Mike and Mechelle Bowman. She is the granddaughter of Bill and Inez Thrasher and Charles and Carol Langford and the great granddaughter of Edwina Langford.

A graduate of Livingston Academy, she is employed at Tangle's Salon.

The future groom is the son of David and Londa Hughes of Pall Mall, and the grandson of Bessie Hughes and Stella Stokes.

He is a graduate of York Institute in Jamestown and is employed at Coca-Cola.

The wedding ceremony will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18 in the chapel of First United Methodist Church.

Formal invitations will be sent.
