MICHAEL LESTER COLLINS
Funeral services for Mr. Michael Lester Collins, 45, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2004, at Fellowship Baptist Church.

Burial was in Fellowship Cemetery with Bro. Dewitt Sampley and Bro. Mike Anderson officiating.

Mr. Collins died Friday, June 18 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a factory worker with Cagle's in Albany, KY, and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Born September 13, 1958, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Aaron and Betty (Harris) Collins.

Survivors include his wife, Esther C. (Rodriguez) Collins of Livingston; a son, Adam Dean Collins of Ohio; a daughter, Erin Michele Feaster of Akron, OH; a step-son, Gavan Rodriguez of Livingston; three brothers, Paul Collins, Kevin Collins, and Donnie Collins, all of Allons; four grandchildren; four aunts, Agnes Born of Cookeville, Helen Winningham of Ohio, Daya Chilton of Allons, and Marie Ferrell of Livingston; and several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

Pallbearers were Tony Black, Gavan Rodriguez, Bryan Copeland, David West, Kenny Melton, and Dennis Moe.

TILDA MAY DICKERSON
Funeral services for Mrs. Tilda May Dickerson, 80, of Livingston, were conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Burial was in Allen's Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Dewey Glenn Masters officiating.

Mrs. Dickerson died Wednesday, June 16 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a housewife and a member of Aaron's Chapel Church.

Born November 4, 1923, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late McKinley and Mary (Taylor) Allen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Allen and Seymore Allen.

Survivors include her husband, Oakla Dickerson of Livingston; three sons, Delmas Dickerson of Cookeville, and Billy Ray Dickerson and Clyde Dickerson, both of Hilham; a brother, Tilmon B. Allen of Livingston; and four grandchildren, Jimmy Dickerson, Tina Naff, Gary Dickerson, and Clyde Glen Dickerson.

Pallbearers were Charlie Greenwood, Jimmy Dickerson, Jimmy Reed, Donald Geesling, Jerry Smith, and David Warden.

Serving as honorary pallbearers were Billy Sullivan and Johnny Ledbetter.

MONNIE E. GARRETT
Funeral services for Ms. Monnie E. Garrett, 83, of Livingston, were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Burial was in Clark Cemetery with Bro. Randy Stephens and Bro. Cletis Beason officiating.

Ms. Garrett died Friday, June 18 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a homemaker and attended Barnes Ridge Church of Christ.

Born September 11, 1920, in Pickett County, she was the daughter of the late Will Henry and Ella (Clark) Garrett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Dessie Garrett, Garland Garrett, and Howard Garrett; and a sister, Serene Stephens.

Survivors include two brothers, Lonzie Garrett of Phoenix, AZ, and Clurie Garrett of Livingston; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Elmo Garrett, Joe Garrett, Jeff Garrett Jr., John Stephens, Joey Stephens, and Tom Spohnholtz.

ESTELLE E. GORE
Funeral services for Mrs. Estelle E. Gore, 77, of Livingston, were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, June 21, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Burial was in Old Union Cemetery with Bro. Edward Todd and Bro. Tom Greenwood officiating.

Mrs. Gore died Friday, June 18 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a housewife, a cafeteria worker at Hilham Elementary School, and a member of Hilham Church of God.

Born June 21, 1926, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Javie and Nellie (Hooks) Eldridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lilburn Gore in 2002.

Survivors include a son, Bruce Gore and his wife, Linda, of Powder Springs, GA; two daughters, Debbie Huff and her husband, Donald, of Cookeville, and Libby Lee and her husband, Jimmy, of Livingston; two brothers, Harold Eldridge and Harrison Eldridge,both of Livingston; and six grandchildren, Jeff Gore, Christy Buford, Sherry Farley, Dana Strong, Griffin Lee, and Ivy Lee.

Pallbearers were Matt Eldridge, Mark Eldridge, Mike Eldridge, Gerald Ferrill, Frank McIlvain, Shannon Davis, and Bennie Davis.

Serving as honorary pallbearers were Ray Austin and John Webb.

NYTAREE (GARRETT) HELTON
Funeral services for Mrs. Nytaree (Garrett) Helton, 80, of Davis, CA, and formerly of Overton County, were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Burial was in Garrett Family Cemetery with Rev. Buford Nevins officiating.

Mrs. Helton died Saturday, June 12 at Davis. She was a retired elementary school teacher and was of the Methodist faith.

Born December 10, 1923, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Lora Garrett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Helton; six brothers, Billie Garrett, Coley Garrett, Joe Garrett, Lewis Garrett, Monty Garrett, and Clyde Garrett; and two sisters, Anna Lee Thompson and Geneva Maynord.

Survivors include a daughter, Leneda Helton of Davis; a brother, Teddy Garrett of Livingston; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

LESTER D. SPEARS
Funeral services for Mr. Lester D. Spears, 79, of Celina, were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 19, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Burial was in Fitzgerald Cemetery in Celina with Bro. Harold Reeder officiating.

Mr. Spears died Wednesday, June 16 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a retired farmer and was of the Church of Christ faith.

Born August 6, 1924, in Clay County, he was the son of the late Archie Bennett and Mary Sue (Dailey) Spears. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eula (Thompson) Spears; two daughters, Minnie Rose Ledbetter and Nina Kay Spears; two sons, Joe Donald Spears and James Ledbetter; three brothers; five sisters; a grandson, Tony Russell Rich; and a step-grandson, Kelly Jack Daniels.

Survivors include six daughters, Vickie Garrett, Mary Gore, and Barbara Brown, all of Livingston, Shelia Christian of Columbus, IN, Doris Isabell of Celina, and Virginia Jones of Albany, KY; a sister, Martha Hawkins of Madison; 23 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren.

COZE EDWARD WINNINGHAM
Funeral services for Mr. Coze Edward Winningham, 82, of Crawford, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Burial was in Phillips Cemetery with Rev. Oliver England and Rev. Greg Jenkins officiating.

Mr. Winningham died Tuesday, June 15 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a retired coal miner, a retired factory worker with Dickerson File in Indiana, and was affilliated with the Freewill Baptist Church.

Born August 28, 1921, in Fentress County, he was the son of the late Quitman and Vina (Hite) Winningham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Winningham; and two sisters, Madge Shelton and Billie Rich.

Survivors include his wife, Roxie Winningham of Crawford; a daughter, Patricia Winningham of Crawford; a sister, Faye Handy of Livingston; two sisters-in-law, Ida Winningham of Anderson, IN, and Minnie Garrett of Cookeville; two grandchildren, Bill Wilson and Angela Wilson Pak; and four great grandchildren, Brandon Pak, Blakelyn Pak, Alyssa Westmoreland, and Emma Wilson.

Pallbearers were James Handy, Danny Winningham, Gary Handy, Billy Handy, Kenny Wilson, and Ronnie Winningham.
