OSCOE BARLOW
Funeral services for Mr. Oscoe Barlow, 73, of Hermitage, were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 14, 2004, from the chapel of Hunter Funeral Home in Sparta.

Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery.

Mr. Barlow died Wednesday, February 11 at Nashville Health Care Center. He was a retired barber and hair stylist.

Born March 23, 1930, in Livingston, he was the son of the late Ridley and Susan (Carwile) Barlow. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, A.J. Barlow, Clinton Barlow, and Edward Barlow.

Survivors include two brothers, John Barlow of Monterey and James Barlow of Sparta; five sisters, Mary Alice Bradford of Hermitage, Sarah Gibbons of Livingston, Valley Hawkins and Delpha Combs, both of Sparta, and M.C. Patton of Dayton, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

ANTHONY B. COFFMAN
Funeral services for Mr. Anthony B. Coffman, 53, of Hilham, were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Burial was in Maxwell Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Tim Sharp and Rev. Fred Hawkins officiating.

Mr. Coffman died Thursday, January 22 at his home. He was the owner and sales representative of United Appliance in Cookeville and a member of Maxwell Chapel Church of God.

Born January 17, 1951, in Jackson County, he was the son of Donald "Sil" and Edwina (Brown) Coffman of Hilham.

Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his wife, Sue Coffman of Cookeville; a step-son, Clay Phillips of Baxter; two daughters, Misty Gentry of Timothy and Alisha Coffman of Nashville; a brother, David Coffman of Hilham; a step-grandchild, Tori Phillips of Baxter; two nephews, Jason Coffman and Joshua Coffman, both of Hilham; and a great nephew, Hunter Coffman of Hilham.

Pallbearers were Earl Loftis, Larry Geesling, Brandon Geesling, Josh Coffman, Gerald Peterman, and Jason Coffman.

ROBERT MAURICE GORE
Funeral services for Mr. Robert Maurice Gore, 67, of Rickman, were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 15, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Burial was in Freedonia Cemetery with Rev. Jackie Wheeler officiating.

Mr. Gore died Friday, February 13 at NHC Healthcare in Cookeville. He was a grounds-keeper at a golf course in Anderson, IN, for 37 years and was of the Baptist faith.

Born April 8, 1936, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Frank L. and Della (Cantrell) Gore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Oral Gore and Clyde Gore; a half-sister, Mae Dishman; and four half-brothers, Charlie Gore, Curtis Gore, Roy Gore, and Willie Gore.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Gore of Rickman; five sons, Bobby Gore of Rickman, Timmy Gore, David Gore, Paul Gore, and Roy Meredith, all of Anderson; a daughter, Shelley Vinson of Cookeville; a brother, Bernard Gore of Anderson; three sisters, Opal Dishman of Anderson, Cecila Daniels of Monroe, and Louise Meredith of Noblesville, IN; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Robby Gore, Joe Gore, Paul Gore, Jeff Meredith, David Gore, Jason Gore, and Timmy Gore.

ALLEN SELLS
Funeral services for Mr. Allen Sells, 80, of the Bolestown Community, were conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ovle Tinch officiating.

Mr. Sells died Sunday, February 8 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a farmer and of the Baptist faith.

Born April 7, 1923, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Vollie and Mary (Holt) Sells. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Bertha Kostelnik, Ethel Johnson, Azell McDonald, and Clementine Allred; and three brothers, Clifford Sells, Kenneth Sells, and Clifton Sells.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Sells of the Bolestown Community; a son, Charlie Sells and his wife, Nancy, of the Bolestown Community; three daughters, Carolyn Copeland and her husband, Alvin, Irene Sells, and Kathy Sells, all of the Bolestown Community; a brother, George Sells of Monroe; a sister, Ruth Cyrus of Livingston; a grandson, Stacy Sells; two granddaughters, Beth Sells and Karen Smith; and three great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Derrick McDonald, Wayne McDonald, Gary McDonald, B.J. Todd, Johnny Cyrus, and Mark Sells.

Serving as honorary pallbearers were Ronnie Cyrus, Ronnie Paul Cyrus, Eddie Sells, Jeremy Sells, and Robert McDonald.
