NEW CHEVROLET ON DISPLAY HERE
The new 1934 Chevrolet with "knee-action" wheels, 80-horsepower "Blue Streak" engine, streamlined body and an imposing list of improvements and refinements is on display in Livingston at the Chevrolet dealers' showrooms, Bilbrey Motor Company.

J.V. Sells and Cassie McDonald; Clayton Cantrell and Ova Carr; Mal McDonald and Orpha Ledbetter; Vadus Ferrell and Velma Lee Andrews; Ernest Crawford and Pearl Phillips; Dillard Buck and Vera Maynard; John Pippen and Geneva Vaughn; Talmadge Looper and Portia Phillips; Charlie Maynard and Elease Copeland; and Walter Dillon and Melia Wallace.

Mrs. Mary G. Neely, 89, died Sunday, January 28, at 11 a.m., at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James M. Bullock, at Hilham, after an illness of nine days, following a stroke of paralysis. She was the widow of Berry Neely. Surviving are seven children: A.L. Neely, Mrs. James Tays, Mrs. James M. Bullock, Mrs. James Myers, Mrs. T.W. Carlock, Mrs. W.C. Davidson, Mrs. B.M. Stanton, and Etta Neely. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the Union Church in Hilham. Burial was in the Old Union Cemetery.

Leon Howard, who is working at Cole Creek, visited home folks last week.

Juanita and Shelia Franklin visited Veo Boles Saturday night and Sunday.

Hubert Brown moved from the John Nivens farm to the house Tommy Hawkins occupied for the last few years.

John Judd gave a musical party last week.

Some of Canada Lee's children have measles.

Carl Stout mashed his finger last week.

A.A. Cunningham is on the sick list.

Mrs. Harve Warren visited Mrs. Lon Poston Tuesday.

Mrs. Bailey Hunter remains ill.
