S&K wins 6-Under Tournament

S&K Woodyard went undefeated in winning the Overton County 6-Under
Girls Softball Tournament championship, and also the season championship.

LRH Cal Ripken team places first in season

recently finished their season in first place. On behalf of the

Swallows Insurance won the 2003 Overton County Cal Ripken 11-12
year-old championship with a 14-1 record. Team members are, kneeling

Robbie Maynord qualifies
at American Dream Challenge

Robbie Maynord, 13-year-old son of Rick and Sherry Maynord of Livingston,
qualified for the American Dream Challenge out of a field of 63
kart racers in his class at the event held July 3-6 at Beechnut
Raceway in Bristol. He moved into the race by finishing in the top
20. In the main race, he was running 3rd when he ran out of gas.
The race was his first at a major event.
