Babe Ruth season winners announced

Copeland Trucking Inc. won the Overton County Babe Ruth championship for 2003. K&J gains lead in Men's Softball

K&J Inc. gained the first place spot in Overton County Men's Softball League with an 8-0 record after games played last week. Pug's Tanks did not play, so the team remained at 7-0 on the season.

Byrdstown Dairy Queen 18, Livingston Jaycees 3

Byrdstown Dairy Queen Bobby McDougal 3 for 3 with a home run, Sean Smith 3 for 4, Donny Reeder 3 for 4, Nathan Anderson hit 2 home runs, and Chris Pryor hit a home run.

Livingston Jaycees Michael Johnson 2 for 2.
