held May 17
The Wildcat 5K Run/Walk was held May 17.
Overall Male was Colin Smith, 19, of Livingston, with a time of
18:13.
Overall Female was Deidra Garrett, 18, of Livingston, with a time
of 21:56.
Top Masters Male was Lynn Burnett, 46, of Livingston, with a time
of 20:25.
Top Masters Female was Debbie Moore, 49, of Manchester, with a
time of 25:09.

Copeland keeps lead
in Babe Ruth
Copeland Trucking still kept the lead in Overton County Babe Ruth
last week with a 6-1 record.
Pitchers ruled on the Babe Ruth field Monday night, May 19. Raleigh
Thompson pitched four strong innings, but American Bank & Trust
could not quite hold on as Copeland Trucking improved to 6-1 with
a 5-2 win. Dustin Boles struck out 18 batters in six innings for
Copeland Trucking.
In the nightcap, Union Bank & Trust played Livingston Family Dentistry.
Travis Murphy and Tyler Sells each struck out 7 in a game that was
suspended after 8 innings, tied 3-3. The game will be completed
later.
er cloudy skies Tuesday night, May 20, Mark White Tire rallied
for 2 runs in the bottom of the seventh to defeat American Bank
& Trust 7-6. Josh Coffman led AB&T with 2 hits.
The game between Copeland Trucking and Byrdstown Medical Center
was rained out in the second inning. Jamie Vaughn lost his second
home run to the rain.
On Saturday, May 24, Mark White Tire won the first game by forfeit
over Dale Hollow Power Sports.
In the second game, Brian Scott looked sharp as he held Byrdstown
Medical Center to 5 hits in leading Livingston Family Dentistry
to a 9-1 victory. Robert Holt had 2 hits and scored 2 runs to lead
the LFD bats.
In the final game of the night, Josh Garrett had a big two out
hit to lead Union Bank & Trust to an 11-3 come from behind win over
American Bank & Trust. Andrew Neff pitched four strong innings to
pick up his first win.
