Babies
Mark and Becky Walker of Livingston proudly announce
the birth of their son, Luke Otis, who was born May 27, 2003, at
Livingston Regional Hospital. He weighed 8 lbs 2.8 oz and measured
20.25 inches in length. He is the grandson of David and Janie Maynord
and Wanda Walker, all of Livingston, and the late Junior Walker.
Tracy and Tabitha Brown, of Alpine, proudly announce
the birth of their son, Tristan James, who was born at 3 p.m. Friday,
June 27, 2003, at Livingston Regional Hospital. He weighed 8 lbs.
7 oz. and measured 21.5 inches in length. He is the grandson of
Verna Meredith of Alpine, Velma Brown of Alpine, and the late Kelly
Brown. He is the great grandson of Latta Copeland, also of Alpine,
Amly Poore of Byrdstown, and Edgar and Gladys Meredith of Finksburg,
MD. Also welcoming home the new arrival were his big brother, Cameron,
and his big sister, Avery.
Josh and Misty Poston, of Livingston, proudly announce
the birth of their daughter, Allyson Brooke, who was born May 28,
2003, at Livingston Regional Hospital. She weighed 9 lbs. 4 oz.
and measured 20.75 inches in length. She is the granddaughter of
Ted and Helen Poston and Phillip and Vickie Randles. Also welcoming
home the new arrival was her big brother, Logan.
Brian and Samantha (Easterly) McLerran of Glasgow,
KY, proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Ella Grace, who
was born June 3, 2003, at T.J. Sampson Hospital in Glasgow. She
weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz. and measured 20.25 inches in length. She is
the granddaughter of Dr. Kevin and Debra (Arney) Easterly, formerly
of Livingston, and Roy and Jo Nell McLerran of Moss.
Nick and Kesha Burt proudly announce the birth of
their daughter, Tristen Rayne, who was born June 28, 2003, at Livingston
Regional Hospital. She weighed 8 lbs. and measured 20.5 inches in
length.

Miss Smith and Mr. Coffman united in marriage
May 3

Miss Danielle DeShea Smith, of Cookeville, given in marriage by
her father and mother, became the bride of Jason E. Coffman, of
Hilham, on Saturday, May 3 at Maxwell Chapel Church of God. Tim
Sharp officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Frances Phifer of Cookeville and Brad
Smith of Fruitland Park, FL. She is the granddaughter of Roy and
Doris Moore of Brush Creek, and Donald and Joan Smith of Leesburg,
FL.
The groom is the son of David and Connie Coffman of Hilham. He
is the grandson of Donald and Edwina Coffman of Hilham, and James
and Ruth Poidexter of Livingston.
The church was decorated with netting bows and a center candelabra
with pink and white roses.
As the guests were seated, "Whither Thou Goest" was played.
"From This Day Forward" was played as the candles were
lit and the grandmothers were seated, and "There's Love"
Processional was played as the mothers were seated.
Other musical selections included a recorded version of "Keeper
of the Stars", as well as "Wedding March", played
by church pianist Jerry Carr.
During the lighting of the unity candle, "Grow Old With Me"
was played. For the recessional, the couple chose the selection
"From This Moment On".
The bride's gown was white nylon with a polyester overlay. The
bodice was embellished with Venetian lace and adorned with pearls
and sequins.
Her matching veil and headpiece also featured sequins and pearls.
Her bouquet consisted of cascading pink and white roses.
Serving as maid of honor was Jennifer Stone, of Cookeville, friend
of the couple. Bridesmaid was the bride's sister, Lindsey Martin,
of San Antonio, TX.
The bride's cousin, Mackenzie Moore, of Cleveland, served as flower
girl.
They wore pink polyester gowns and carried bouquets of pink and
white roses.
Serving as best man was the groom's brother, Josh Coffman, of Hilham.
Groomsman was Jamey Spivey, of Cookeville, friend of the couple.
Ushers were Jeremy Benson, of Algood, cousin of the bride and Andy
Phifer, of Cookeville, brother of the bride.
Kyle Moore, of Cleveland, cousin of the bride, and Nicholas Martin,
of San Antonio, TX, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearers.
The bride's mother wore a two-piece floor-length grape polyester
dress.
The groom's mother wore a two-piece mint green mid-calf silk dress.
Keeping the guest register was Tabitha Benson, of Algood, cousin
of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception, given by the bride's mother,
was held at the church.
The couple honeymooned in Gatlinburg before returning to their
new home in Hilham.
Engagements
Miss Rogers and Mr. Turner to exchange wedding
vows July 26

Miss Pamela Rogers and Mr. Christopher Turner proudly announce
their engagement and forthcoming wedding.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Lamar and Karen Rogers of Clarkrange.
She is the granddaughter of the late Mildred Harvey Sells, and of
Lois and Betty Sells of Monroe, and the late Farrell Rogers, and
Ruby and Jackie Briere.
She is a graduate of Tennessee Tech University with a degree in
education. She just accepted a teaching position in Warren County.
The future groom is the son of Melinda and Randy Meaders of Snellville,
GA, and Ray and Becky Turner of Lawerenceville, GA. He is the grandson
of Pat Ivey of Lawerenceville, GA, and the late Samuel "Newtie"
Ivey, and Frank and Dapsie Turner. He is a graduate of Tennessee
Tech University with a degree in education. He just accepted a teaching
position in Warren County where he will also be the head basketball
coach at Warren County High School in McMinnville.
The couple will exchange vows at Central Baptist Church, in Crossville,
on Saturday, July 26 at 4 p.m.
A reception will follow the ceremony at Lake Tansi Restaurant and
Lounge in Crossville.
The couple will reside in McMinnville.
