Brandon and Heather Melton of Rickman proudly announce the birth
of their daughter, Samantha Michelle, who arrived on May 17, 2003.
She weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz. and measured 20.75 in. in length. She is
the granddaughter of Larry and Joan Melton and Lorraine Whited and
the late Jack Whited. Also welcoming home the new arrival was her
big sister, Shelby.
Jamie and Maranda Mc-Ginnis, of Rickman, proudly announce
the birth of their son, Elijah Glen, who was born April 23, 2003,
at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He weighed 6 lbs. 15 oz.
and measured 20.25 inches in length. He is the grandson of Frannie
Paul of Monroe, Jean Smith of Livingston, Prentice and Jewel-ene
McGinnis of Indiana, and the late Glen Paul. He is the step-grandson
of Paul Cogbill of Monroe. His great grandparents are Harrison and
Barbara Smith of the Timothy Community.
Joseph and Karri Amonett, of Livingston, proudly
announce the birth of their twin sons, William Joseph and Zachary
Cole, who were born March 18, 2003, at Livingston Regional Hospital.
They weighed 4 lbs. 1 oz. and 5 lbs. 1 oz., respectively. They are
the grandsons of Norman and Kay Amonett and Ronnie and Donna Zachary,
all of Byrdstown.

Miss Cross and Mr. Cobb to unite in matrimony
August 2

Miss Ciara Danielle Cross and Mr. Andrew Clay Cobb announce their
engagement and forthcoming wedding. The bride-elect is the daughter
of Butch and Saralee Cross of Allons. She is the granddaughter of
Ralph and Lois Cross of Livingston, Janet Daley of Allons, and Bob
Daley of Florida. She is the great granddaughter of Lola Gunnels
of Allons and the late Jim Gunnels, William and Sarah Daley, Horace
and Nella Cross, and Thomas and Bess Hargis.
She is a 1999 graduate of Livingston Academy. She will graduate
from Tennessee Tech in December with a bachelor of science degree
in elementary education. She is employed as a certified aerobics
instructor at The Fitness Zone.
The future groom is the son of Ronnie and Patsy Cobb of Cookeville.
He is the grandson of the late James Wesley, Ruth Lea and Carnell
and Mary Ann Cobb.
He is a 1998 graduate of Cookeville High School. He attended Tennessee
Tech and completed course work at Livingston Technology Center.
He is co-owner with his father of a landscaping business.
The couple will exchange vows at West End Church of Christ in Livingston
on Saturday, August 2 at 6 o'clock in the evening.
All friends and family are invited to attend.
Miss Dillon and Mr. Dailey to exchange wedding
vows July 18

Miss Brandy Dillon and Mr. Brian Dailey proudly announce their
engagement and forthcoming wedding.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Russell and Dian Dillon of Hilham.
She is the granddaughter of Ernest and Imogene Geesling, Martha
Dillon, and the late Blount Dillon.
A 2001 graduate of Livingston Academy, she is employed at Copeland
Veterinary Hospital in Cookeville.
The future groom is the son of Patsey and U.L. Dailey of Hilham
and Donald and Donna Dailey of Burkesville, KY. He is the grandson
of the late Newton and Ermine Dailey and Pascal and Rosalyn Staggs.
A 1999 graduate of Livingston Academy, he is employed at SEC Interprises
in Cookeville.
The couple will exchange vows at Standing Stone State Park, by
shelter 5, below the dam, on Friday, July 18 at 7 p.m.
No formal invitations will be sent.
