Jacob and Melody Cummings, of Livingston, proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Emma Rhea, who was born February 2, 2003, at Livingston Regional Hospital. She weighed 6 lbs. 13 oz. and measured 19.75 inches in length. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Ray Neal and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cummings. Also welcoming home the new arrival was her big sister, Ashton Penley.

Tim and Lisa Mountain, of Alpine, proudly announce the birth of their son, Tucker Shane, who was born January 9, 2003, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He weighed 6 lbs. 6 oz. and measured 19.75 inches in length. He is the grandson of Oren and Geraldine Mountain and Benny and Diane McBride. He is the great grandson of Velma Broyles of Jamestown. Also welcoming home the new arrival were his big sister, Aaliyah, and his big brother, Lance.

Jamie and Kristi Speck, of Germantown, OH, proudly announce the birth of their first child, Ava, who was born November 3, 2002, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH. She weighed 7 lbs. and measured 19.5 inches in length. She is the granddaughter of Ray and Joan Lansaw of Germantown and Jimmie and Barb Speck, formerly of Livingston, also of Germantown. Great grandparents are Willie and Emogene Hughes of Allons, Jessie Speck of Livingston, and the late J.D. Speck.

Miss Derrick and Mr. Looper to unite in matrimony March 7

Miss Leslie Derrick and Mr. Justin Ryan Looper proudly announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Bill Derrick of Grassy Cove and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Derrick, also of Grassy Cove.

She is a graduate of Roane State Community College.

The future groom is the son of Justin and Terry Looper of Rickman and the grandson of Coleman and Marie Looper of Crossville.

He is also a graduate of Roane State Community College.

The couple will exchange vows at Faith Outreach Worship Center in Livingston on Friday, March 7 at six o’clock in the evening.

 

Miss Johnston and Mr. Story to unite in marriage March 15

Miss Jenny Johnston and Mr. Jeff Story proudly announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Jim and Sandra Linder of Jamestown and the granddaughter of Ruth Davis, and the late Woodrow and Reba Linder, and Eugene Davis.

She is a graduate of Alvin C. York Institute of Jamestown and Tennessee Technological University.

The future groom is the son of Leon and Betty Story of Alpine.

He is a graduate of Livingston Academy.

The ceremony will be held at Oakdale Baptist Church in Monroe on Saturday, March 15 at three thirty o’clock in the afternoon.

No formal invitations will be sent.

 

Miss McDonald and Mr. Oaks to exchange wedding vows March 8

Miss Jennifer McDonald and Mr. Brian Oaks proudly announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce McDonald of Livingston. She is the granddaughter of Lillian Crabtree of Livingston, the late Cecil Crabtree, and Cloyd and Myrtle McDonald.

She is a 1998 graduate of Livingston Academy.

The future groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Oaks of Silverpoint. He is the grandson of Coleen Clark, Fowler and Margaret Oaks, and the late Willie Clark.

He is a 1996 graduate of Upperman High School in Baxter.

The couple will exchange vows at Boma Church of God in Baxter on Saturday, March 8 at three o’clock in the afternoon.

All friends and family are invited to attend.
