Miss Boles and Mr. Ray exchange wedding vows
September 14

Miss Julie Boles, given in marriage by her father and step-father,
became the bride of Timmy Ray on September 14 at Christ Church Presbyterian
in Alpine. Bro. Nolen Cantrell officiated the double ring ceremony
at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Johnson and Mr.
and Mrs. Mike Boles, all of Livingston. She is the granddaughter
of James Hull, Betty Kirkpatrick, and the late Wanda Hull and Harold
Boles.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Ray of Allons. He
is the grandson of Leonard Ray and the late Bernadine Ray and Mr.
and Mrs. Ben Hawkins.
During the prelude of the ceremony, various love songs were played,
including a special dedication to the bride's sister, "Wind
Beneath My Wings".
The candles were lit to the song, "Me and You", and the
grandparents were seated to "Because You Loved Me". The
mothers were seated to "A Song For My Daughter".
The groom's party entered to the song, "A Picture of Me Without
You".
The bridal party entered to "It's Your Love", then the
bride was escorted to the altar by her father to "Canon in
DÓ.
Other musical selections for the ceremony included "Cross
My Heart" and "From This Moment".
The church was adorned in white roses, greenery, lace and candles.
The bride wore a strapless white gown accented with sequins, pearls,
and lace. Her headpiece was a crystal tiara with an attaching, waist-length
veil.
She carried a bouquet of two dozen white roses.
Serving as maid of honor was the bride's sister, Jamie Boles,
of Livingston. Bridesmaids were Misty Looper and Rachel Deck, friends
of the bride, Kelli Ray and Jennifer Ray, the groom's sisters-in-law,
and Stephanie Thrasher, the groom's cousin.
Each wore a spaghetti strap black linen dress and carried a single
white rose.
Flower girls were Kayln Conner, niece of the groom, and Kelsey
and Katlyn Ray, cousins of the groom.
Ringbearers were Peyton Boles, brother of the bride, Cody Ray,
nephew of the groom, and Logan Hull, filling in for Trent, both
cousins of the bride.
Serving as the bride's best man was her brother, Tommy Johnson,
of Livingston. Serving as best man was Chris Ray, cousin of the
groom. Groomsmen were Scott Ray and Kenny Ray, brothers of the groom,
Matt Garrett, Stacey Dickerson, Kyle Gaw, and Josh Deck, all friends
of the groom.
Ushers for the ceremony were Chris Gore, Brad Thrasher, and Brent
Thrasher, cousins of the groom, and Logan Hull, cousin of the bride.
Keeping the guest register was Keylon Boles, of Lawrence-burg,
cousin of the bride.
Musical coordinator was Chris Johnson, cousin of the bride.
A reception, hosted by the bride's parents, followed the ceremony
outside the church.
After a honeymoon in Aruba, the newlyweds are making their home
in Allons.
