Oscar Eldridge, of near Freedonia, was in town Tuesday on business. Wilbur Fleming, of UT, is spending the Christmas holidays with his mother, Mrs. Nell Fleming. Champ Clark, of UT, is greeting friends in Livingston. Lucille Deck, of Deck Cove, was the week-end guest of Sara Howard. Mrs. Clara Smith, of Alpine High School, is spending her vacation with friends in Livingston. George Knight, of Vanderbilt University, is spending the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.C. Knight. Ruth Cunningham, of Fayetteville, is spending the holidays with Lucy Price Miller. Albert Brown, of Nashville, is spending the week-end with his wife. Lester Allen, son of Lum Allen, and Maudie Carr, daughter of Jim Carr were married December 24. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Sells visited T.D. Cole Monday. Ezma Seber and Arlin Bilbrey were married December 17. W.O. Day has two sick children. Aunt Mary Cole isn't improving much. Maude Davis visited Fannie Christian Saturday night. Several from Allons attended the play at Unity Saturday night. Mrs. Lum Johnson is slowly improving. Ernest West, of Nashville, spent Christmas with his mother, Mrs. J.D. West. Edith Stockton married Arnold Benson, of Old Hickory December 19. Dillard Gragg, of near Miranda, has been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Burr Qualls. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Flatt spent last week-end with Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Young and family, near Sulphur. Mrs. Dennis Bilbrey was shopping in town Saturday. Clure Williams and Hattie Bean were married recently. Edith Carlock, spent the holidays with her cousins, Ruth and Elizabeth Bullock.
