Forrest May, of Nashville, is visiting his mother, Mrs. Minnie May.

Ruby Lucille Kadel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.J. Kadel, and James Clarence Hawkins were quietly married on last Saturday afternoon at 4:00 at the bride's parents' home in Nashville. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Hawkins, of Livingston. He is a graduate of Livingston Academy and a commercial artist. After the ceremony, the couple left for a brief motor trip after which they will reside in Nashville.

Mrs. B.N. Howard is spending the week with her daughter, Mrs. Clark Myers, at Freedonia.

Cornelia Oakley is visiting her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Vaughn, near Henard.

Mr. and Mrs. Perry Dale and children, of Nashville, spent the week-end with Mr. Dale's mother, Mrs. A.L. Dale.

Velma Stockton, nurse in the St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.C. Stockton.

Mrs. C.E. Rowe is in Nashville for medical treatment.

J.W. Arnold was at Byrdstown Saturday on business.

Christine Willeford, of Paran, visited Mr. and Mrs. Haskell Carr, of Livingston, last week.

Little Johnnie Copeland, of Livingston, R.3, is better.

Mrs. George Garrett, of Livingston R.2, is on the sick list.

Mrs. Sis Hall is not well.

Clara Bilyeu, of Algood, spent Monday night with Mattie Sue Cooper in Rickman.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gray, of Livingston, and Mrs. Alba Livingston, of Oak Hill, visited Mr. and Mrs. Ridley McCulley, of Okolona, recently.

Arnold Benson returned to Old Hickory Thursday.

Dimple Thompson spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Doil Thompson, of Brotherton.

Cemore Barnes spent Sunday night at Q.S. McClain's.

Mrs. John Vaughn is slowly improving.

Inez Bilbrey, of Rickman, spent Thursday night with her aunt, Mrs. Test Bilbrey, near Cookeville.
