R.B. Oakley, of Nashville, spent the weekend in town with relatives

Mrs. Ernest Estes has returned from a visit with relatives in California.

Mrs. J.L. Sadler and children, of Baxter, were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. A.R. Ward.

Andrew Albert wed Inez McDonald in Lebanon on Wednesday, June 27. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Webb McDonald of Wirmingham, and a graduate of Alpine High School. The groom came from Thibadoux, LA several years ago. They will reside in Marrowbone, KY.

Dillard G. Bilbrey, 45, died Sunday at the home of Sanford Jones after a few hours illness. He was a farmer. Surviving is his wife, Polly Cunningham Bilbrey, one son, Beecher, and five daughters, Bertha, Audie, Otha, Veria, and Jewel Bilbrey, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Bilbrey, and two brothers, Wilburn and Ernest, and three sisters, Tilda Bilbrey, Mrs. Joe Bryant, and Mrs. Harrison Key. Burial was in the Shady Grove Cemetery.

Coy Carr was in Happy Hollow Sunday
