Mrs. Laura Coe Robbins, 69, died at her home in Byrdstown on Sunday evening, Feb. 12 after an illness of several months. In March 1906, Mrs. Coe and James H. Robbins, a merchant, were married. Mrs. Robbins is survived by her husband and six children, J. Carlisle Coe, Mrs. E.H. Dulaney, Mrs. Clyde Martin, Mrs. Dennis Martin, Jesse H. Coe, and Mrs. Willie Huddleston; thirteen grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lou Chilton, Mrs. C.B. Parris; three brothers, Dr. W.C. Groce, Ben E. Groce, and Armster Groce. Burial was in the Groce Cemetery.

Health is very good in Cedar Grove.

Mrs. Jim Franklin is improving.

Allene Smith, of Boom, spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Obie Catron, who entertained with a Rook party Saturday night.

Mr. and Mrs. Edd Jones, of Union B, spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Knight, of Smyrna.

Clara Smith spent the week-end in Nashville.

Halsey Bowmer and Paul Copeland were in Murfreesboro last Friday night.

Willis Langford, of Roaring River, visited his brother, Charles Langford, last week.

Mabel Vaughn, of Allons, was the week-end guest of Bernice Ledbetter.

Haskell Roberts, of Twinton, spent the week-end with his mother, Mrs. Jane Roberts.

Mr. and Mrs. K.L. Bilbrey, of Algood, were guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. F.T. Williams.

Miss Tommie Huddleston, of TPI, spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Safronia Huddleston. Miss Iris Vaughn, who is teaching at Cravenstown, was in Livingston last Saturday.

Miriam Bockman, of Sparta, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. Roy Eastland.

Duval Thomas left last week for Chattanooga.

A.R. Ward was in Louden last week.

R.B. Arnold was in Byrdstown last week.

Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Gore were in Cookeville Tuesday.
