Lewis Greer is confined to his room with the flu.

Jean Myers, a student at Ward-Belmont, is spending the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James H. Myers.

Mrs. E.B. Gray and daughter Mayzell visited Mrs. Gray's sister, Mrs. J.O. Matthews, at Sulphur, last week.

Swep Rodgers, of Algood, employee of H.M. Mofield & Co., who has been seriously ill with pneumonia, is improving.

Beulah Bilbrey, of Livingston Academy, is spending the holidays with her mother, at Booz.

Blue Nivens, who is attending medical college in Memphis, is spending the holidays with his sister, Mrs. W.M. Brown.

Julia Vaughn, of Murfreesboro, is visiting her sister, Mrs. Pat Edwards.

Dr. C.H. Dowell, J.Y. Spicer, Carl Maynord, and R.L. Mitchell attended the funeral of the little daughter of Wm. D. Buford, at Timothy, Monday.

Supt. G.C. Peek and Walter Looper, chairman of the county board of education, visited the Crawford High School Friday.

Attending the Ladies Reading Circle Tuesday were Mrs. L.F. Zachry, Mrs. S.J. Bilbrey, Mrs. W.D. Clark, Mrs. J.G. Harper, Mrs. C.D. Mitchell, and Miss Louise Smith.

Mrs. Ida Garrett Davis, of Cedar Grove, was the guest of Mrs. Dewey Vance Tuesday.

Mrs. Hettie Speck is spending the holidays with her mother and other relatives in Crossville.

Thomas Hughley, of Nashville, is the holiday guest of Herman Qualls.

Charles P. Gray visited his father, Dr. Gray, at Celina last week.

Bess Albert has moved to the residence of Mrs. Phillip Myers.

Flora Wilson is spending the holidays with her parents in Kentucky.

Helen Qualls, teacher of Falling Springs, is spending the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Qualls.

Edith Windle has returned from Nashville.

Mr. and Mrs. Emmit Conaster, of Windle, were in town Wednesday.

Billy Bob Thedford is in Pulaski.
