LASSIE ALLEN PRYOR Funeral services for Mrs. Lassie Allen Pryor, 74, of the Burristown Community of Jackson County, were conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, 2002, from the chapel of Anderson Funeral Home in Gainesboro. Burial was in Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown Community with Bro. H.S. Brown and Bro. Perry Allen officiating. Mrs. Pryor died Monday, Dec. 16 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker and affiliated with the Assembly of God church. Born September 5, 1928, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Ocie C. and Hattie (Haney) Allen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dimple Coffman; and three brothers, Leonard Allen, Estel Allen, and M.J. Allen. Survivors include her husband, Harse Pryor of the Burristown Community; a son, Roger A. Pryor of Gainesboro; two brothers, Clarence Allen and Clifton Allen, both of Hilham; a sister, Wiltha Coffman of Hilham; two grandchildren, Charlotte Pryor and Ronnie Pryor, both of Gainesboro; and a great grandchild, Shaun Pryor.
