C.E. Rowe was in Nashville last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ledbetter and family have moved to Howard's Chapel.

Rubie Poston, who teaches at Oak Grove, spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ras Poston.

Rueben Smith spent Thanksgiving with home folks at Wirmingham.

Mr. and Mrs. Herschel Little are the proud parents of a baby boy and may name him Franklin D. Roosevelt.

W.D. Hogan, who has been sick, died at his home near Oakley on November 23.

Lorena Lyons and Edith Woodward spent the week-end with their parents at Chattanooga. Nancy Bird was their guest.

Since the streets of paradise are paved with gold, getting a road commissioner to work them would be no problem.

Rose Lee Chapman, of Carthage, is visiting her sister, Mrs. Addison Bilbrey.

Alice Parrott and daughter, Margie, of Oakley, were in town shopping Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Bedford Holman have moved to A.G. Keisling's property in north Livingston.

Rose Hart Dale, of TPI, spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Dale.

Lucy Price Miller spent the week-end with Lucille Lee, of Pikeville.

Mr. and Mrs. Bland Speck, of Lebanon, spent the week-end with his mother, Mrs. Hettie Speck.

Grace Phillips, of Lillydale, was the guest of her sisters, Mr. Ben Elder and Mrs. Lewis Elder.

Lloyd Huddleston went to Nashville seeking employment.

Mr. and Mrs. Doc Gibson, of Crawford, are the proud parents of a boy, born Friday, November 25.

Lee A. Breeding, of Monterey, was in town Wednesday.

Mrs. Clarence Flowers and little daughter, of Livingston, are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andy Lemmons.

Mr. and Mrs. Wint Breeding have moved to Quitman Winton's farm.

Bethel Carr, of Carthage, is home on a visit.
