Mrs. J.G. Harper and daughters, Misses Winnie, Florence and Josephine,
and R.T. Little were the guests of Mrs. Harper's daughter, Mrs.
Ruth Fiddle and family, of Hartsville, last Sunday.
Miss Myrtie Brown, of near Hilham, visited her brother, Albert
Brown, this week.
M.R. Stevens has returned from a Nashville hospital, where he had
his tonsils removed.
The Reading Circle will meet with Mrs. J.D. Capps next Wednesday
Miss Erie Allred, of Happy Hollow, who underwent an operation for
appendicitus is better.
Tilden Gore has moved from Windle to Livingston.
Miss Lurene Carr, of R4, spent the week-end with homefolks.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Scott, of Crawford, announce the birth of a
girl last week.
Myrtle Carr, of Sulphur, is visiting her brother, Stanley Carr,
of Willow Grove.
Mr. and Mrs. Cora Huddleston, of Pickett County, are the proud
parents of a girl, born October 12.
Mrs. W. Joe Chilton visited Mr. and Mrs. Walter Smith, of Crossville,
several days. She returned to Byrdstown Tuesday.
Mrs. Guston Swallows, of Okolona, and children visited her father,
O.T. Carr, at Henard last week-end.
Wheeler Harp, of Paran, is visiting relatives in Nashville.
Gaskell Warren spent last Saturday night with Claude Daniels.
Mrs. Tilda Ann Crouch, of Forbus, was in Byrdstown Saturday, seeing
Miss Callie Myers, of Sparta, visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Josh Myers of Windle, last week.
Minnie Franklin and baby, Melvin, and Roxie Winton have returned
from a week's visit with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wolf.
Laura Hammock visited Mrs. Sam Poore Saturday afternoon.
