Several from Smith's Chapel attended the graduation at Livingston last Friday night.

Alphonso Coleman has entered college at Cookeville.

Mrs. Sarah Sweat, of Oak Grove, is visiting her son, J.W. Sweat.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sims, of Lovelady, on April 18, a baby girl.

Oradene Garrett, Ona Neal, Anna Sells, Kermit Connor, and Luther Brooks, all of Pickett County, entered school at Cookeville this week.

Mr. and Mrs. Parris Huddleston arrived in Byrdstown from Muncie, Ind. Sunday.

Mrs. John Sevier spent last Sunday afternoon with Mrs. Stanley Carmack.
