Roy Jr. and Angela Edwards of Livingston proudly announce the birth of their son, George Roy Ronald, who was born June 27, 2001. He weighed 5 lbs. 7.5 oz. and was 18 inches long. His grandparents are Velma Jackson, George Edwards, the late Ronald Jackson, and Betty Edwards. Also welcoming home the new arrival were his sisters, Tara and Diestiny Edwards.

Weddings

Miss Blakely And Mr. Roberts Exchange June Wedding Vows

Miss Kim Hargis Blakely of Livingston, given in marriage by her father, became the bride of Mr. Christopher Shane Roberts of Cookeville on June 29, 2001, at Martin's Chapel Methodist Church. Pastor Perry Clayton officiated the 7 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Paul and Carol Hargis and Faye Maxfield, all of Livingston.

The groom is the son of Glen Roberts and Stella Payne, both of Cookeville. He is the grandson of Hollis and Winnie Roberts.

Musical selections included "Let It Be You", performed by the groom, and "I Could Not Ask For More" by Sara Evans.

Serving as maid of honor was Angela Sullivan of Livingston, sister of the bride.

The flower girl was Chelsea Blakely, daughter of the bride.

Serving as best man was Christopher Clinton of Cookeville, best friend of the groom.

The ring bearer was Cody Blakely, son of the bride.

A reception was held at the church, following the ceremony.

 


Engagements

Miss Sadler And Mr. Copeland To Unite In Matrimony Sept. 1

 

Miss Terri Renee Sadler and Mr. Thomas K. Copeland will exchange wedding vows Saturday, Sept. 1, 2001 at 5 p.m. at the home of the bride-elect's parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Sadler, located at 120 Pine Lane in Livingston.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Charles Norris of California, and the late Jenny Norris and John and Mary Sadler.

She is currently enrolled at Tennessee Technology Center.

The future groom is the son of Louise Copeland and the late Thomas and Malyne Copeland.

He is the grandson of Mrs. S. Dillion of Georgia and the late Shirley Dillion and Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Copeland. He is employed at Re-Ink Images in Algood.

All friends and family are invited to attend the ceremony. A reception will follow the wedding.
