Mark Hambridge of Canberra, Australia, and Shannon Smith of Livingston proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Chloe Faith, who was born July 2, 2001. She weighed 7 lbs. 8.9 oz. and was 19-1/2 inches long. Her grandparents are Brenda Riddle of Livingston, Glen and Donna Smith of Hilham, and the late Arthur and Sadie Hambridge. She is the great granddaughter of Jewell Smith of Livingston. Also welcoming home the new arrival were her sisters, Chasity Smith of Livingston and Amy Hambridge of Perth, Australia, and her brother, Robert Hambridge of Perth.

Jamie and Amanda Garrett of Alpine proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Kelsey Leann, who was born June 25, 2001. She weighed 8 lbs. 12.8 oz. and was 21-3/4 inches long. Her grandparents are Reda Cravens, Roger Hargis, and Donnie and Betty Garrett. Also welcoming home the new arrival was her big sister, Kassy.

Michael and Melanie Mullins of Byrdstown proudly announce the birth of their son, Mason Andrew, who was born June 27, 2001. He weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz. and was 19-1/4 inches long. Proud grandparents are Wayne and Janis Mullins.

Chris and Kelli Stone of Livingston proudly announce the birth of their daughter Bailey Elizabeth, who was born July 3, 2001. She weighed 6 lbs. 15.7 oz. and was 20 inches long. Her grandparents are Ronald "Chico" and Donna Martin of Livingston, Curtis and Marilyn Harris of Cookeville, and the late Bobby Stone. Also welcoming home the new arrival was her big sister, Mykayla.

Jeff Walker and Heather Hargis of Alpine proudly announce the birth of their son, Jeffery Levi Jr., who was born June 30, 2001. He weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz. and was 20 inches long. His grandparents are Reda Cravens, Roger Hargis, Wanda Walker, and Dayton and Nora Cravens.

James E. Hurst and Laura E.A. Bledsoe of Livingston proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Edith Danille "Dani", who was born July 2, 2001. She weighed 7 lbs. 6.2 oz. and was 20-1/2 inches. She is the goddaughter of Diane Willis of Livingston.

Weddings

Miss Bagci And Mr. Ricketts Exchange Wedding Vows

Wendy Elizabeth Bagci of Rickman, given in marriage by her best friend, Larry Sullivan, became the bride of David Thomas Ricketts of Rickman Saturday, June 23, 2001, at the First Baptist Church in Rickman. Reverend Jeff Monday officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Ilene and the late Will Halsell of Rickman.

The groom is the son of Jim and Liz Ricketts of Chapel Hill.

Musical selections for the ceremony included George Strait and Celine Dion.

The bride's dress was a long fitted gown of white satin fashioned with pearls on the dress and a long train in the back. Her fingertip veil was attached to a princess tiara, trimmed with pearls.

She carried a cascading bouquet of white and blue flowers. All flowers used in the wedding were made by Reba’s Florist of Monterey.

Serving as matron of honor was Sharon Walker, wearing a satin blue dress. The bridesmaids included Karen Holman of Algood and Jessica Ricketts of Rickman. Her daughter, Crystal Bagci served as flower girl and Denver Sullivan served as train bearer.

Serving as best man was Brad Ricketts of Chapel Hill, and groomsmen included Adam Walker, and Tim Sells.

The groom wore a black tuxedo with a blue tie, blue boutonniere, black cowboy boots, and a black cowboy hat.

The mother of the bride wore a purple dress and the mother of the groom wore a purple flower dress.

The newlyweds will make their home in Rickman.

 


Engagements

Miss Randolph And Mr. Johnson Plan August 4 Wedding Vows

Miss Sarah Randolph and Mr. Ernest Johnson will exchange wedding vows at the home of Avo Edmonds at Williams Lane in the Hardy’s Chapel Community at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 2001.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Avo Edmonds and the late Richard Edmonds.

The future groom is the son of Andrew and Dolly Johnson.

No formal invitations will be sent. Everyone is welcome to attend.

 

Miss Cotterman And Mr. Rich Announce August 4 Wedding

Miss Paula Cotterman of Crawford and Mr. Noel Rich of Livingston will exchange wedding vows at Collegeside Church of Christ, Cookeville, Saturday, August 4 at 2 p.m., followed by a reception at the Holiday Inn.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Jeff and Sandy Cotterman and the granddaughter of Mary Ann and Durward Williams of Melbourne, FL, and Jean and the late Cecil Cotterman of Boca Raton, FL.

She is a 1996 graduate of Livingston Academy and is currently a senior at Tennessee Technological University majoring in psychology. She will transfer to California State University to complete her degree after the wedding.

The future groom is the son of Pat and the late Perry Rich and the grandson of Muriel Ramsey and the late Pete Ramsey, and the late Jesse and Ada Rich.

He is a 1995 graduate of Livingston Academy and is currently employed by the United States Marine Corp.

The couple will honeymoon in the Caribbean and make their home in San Diego, California directly after the honeymoon.

 

Miss Mulkey And Mr. Speck Announce August 4 Wedding

Miss Jennifer Kelly Mulkey of Chattanooga and Mr. Terry Douglas Speck of Sparta will exchange wedding vows in Sparta Saturday, August 4 at 4:30 p.m.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Hugh W. and Elizabeth C. Mulkey.

She works at Glenda’s Fabrics in Cookeville and attends Tennessee Technological University.

The future groom is the son of Cordell and Jonell Speck of Rickman.

He works at the United States Post Office in Sparta.
