Mark Edward and Jennifer Melissa Daniels of Monroe
proudly announce the birth of their son, Benjamin Corey,
who was born May 2, 2001. He weighed 8 lbs. 15 oz. and was 21-3/4
inches long. Proud grandparents are Billy and Cora Daniels and Horace
Benson Jr. and Sylvia Zeidell.
Sam and Melissa Masters of Cookeville proudly announce
the birth of their son, Tucker Samuel, who was born April
25, 2001. He weighed 8 lbs. 4 oz. and was 20-1/2 inches long. Proud
grandparents are James and Meckle Masters and Betty Bowman and the
late Carl Bowman. Also welcoming home the new arrival were his big
sisters, Hanna Elizabeth and Rachel Leah.

Miss Garrett And Mr. Anthony To Exchange Vows

Joe and Portia Garrett of Monroe announce the engagement and forthcoming
marriage of their daughter, Holly Portia Louise, to Timothy Dwayne
Anthony, son of Jimmy and Elizabeth Anthony of Hartsville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Garland and Emmagene
Garrett and the late Bethel and Laura Garrett, all of Monroe.
She is a 1994 graduate of Livingston Academy and a 1999 graduate
of Middle Tennessee State University, where she received a Bachelor
of Science degree in Mathematics and a Masters of Education in Educational
Leadership. She is currently employed at Bledsoe County High School.
The future groom is the grandson of Leon and Marie Anthony and
Wesley and Ruth Halliburton, all of Hartsville.
He is a 1991 graduate of Trousdale County High School and a 1996
graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, where he received
a Bachelors of Business Administration degree. He is currently employed
at Die Temp in Gallatin.
The wedding is planned for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2001, at
Livingston Church of Christ. Family and friends are invited to attend.
The couple plans to reside in Athens, Georgia after their marriage.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Louis Oakley Jr. of Livingston announce the
engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kara Beth,
to James Wayne Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Miller.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Pangle
and Mrs. Robert Louis Oakley and the late Robert Louis Oakley.
She is a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University.
The groom to be is the grandson of Mrs. Hallie B. Looper, Mr. James
Smith, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Cordell Miller.
He is also a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University.
The wedding is planned for 7 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2001, at the
First United Methodist Church in Livingston.
