Richardsons Renew Vows At 50th Wedding Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Denver Richard-son of Sparta were honored with a reception to honor their 50th wedding anniversary, given by their children, Charlie E. Richardson, Billy J. Richardson, and Fay Holman. The couple was married in Livingston February 17, 1951, and marked the special occasion by renewing their vows at the Oak Grove Church of Christ in Sparta. Bro. Joe Neal officiated at the ceremony with a reception following. The Richardsons have three children, five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Louise is the daughter of Loucile Mullins of Sparta and the late Marvin Mullins. The Mullins' were formerly of Allons. Denver is the son of the late Billie and Mandie Richardson of Livingston. They lived in Michigan for 14 years of their marriage before moving to Sparta. When they moved to Sparta, the Richardsons started a freight pallet business. After Mr. RichardsonŐs retirement, one of his sons, Charlie, and an uncle, Tom Mullins, began operating the business.
Miss Geesling And Mr. Stevens To Be United In Marriage
Kenneth and Mary Geesling of Hilham proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kristy, to Brad Stevens, son of Jody and Vicki Stevens of Livingston. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Walton and Anna Geesling and Alex and Goolie Mae Sparks. She is a 1996 graduate of Livingston Academy and a 1999 graduate of Roane State Community College with an associate of Applied Science in Nursing. She is employed at Livingston Regional Hospital. The future groom is the grandson of Elise White and the late Beeland White and Alf and Velma Stevens. He is a 1995 graduate of Livingston Academy and is majoring in Management Information Systems at Tennessee Technological University. He is currently employed at Service Transport. The ceremony will be held June 2, 2001, at 2 p.m. at West End Church of Christ. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
