Justin and Jamie Higgins of Monroe proudly announce
the birth of their son, Austin Hunter, who was born March
30, 2001. He weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. Proud
grandparents are Kenny and Barbara Smith, Robert and Anna Shields,
and Jesse and Tammy Copeland. Also welcoming home the new arrival
were great grandparents, Betty Oakley, Vada Ledbetter, and Aaron
and Katherine Dorsey.
Joshua Gaw and Amber Swingley of Livingston proudly
announce the birth of their daughter, Calista Elaine, who
was born March 17, 2001. She weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz. and was 20 inches
long. Proud grandparents are Rick and Rebecca Lowe, Tammy Thurman,
and Randy and June Gaw. Also welcoming home the new arrival was
big brother Trenton Gaw.
Micheal and Laura Rivers of Monroe proudly announce
the birth of their son, Crayley Micheal, who was born March

birth or their daughter, Madelyn Michelle, who was born April
10, 2001. She weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz. and was 22 inches long. Proud

new arrival were grandparents Elizabeth Carr and Edna Webb of Livingston,

the birth of their daughter, Bethany Leann, who was born
April 3, 2001. She weighed 6 lbs. 6.8 oz. and was 20 1/4 inches
long. Proud grandparents are Arvil and Wilma York, Ronnie and Judy
England, and Glenn Reagan. Proud great grandparents are Mae York,
Ova Reagan, and Pauline Bailey. She is also the great granddaughter
of the late Price York, E.J. Reagan, Elvie Earmon Bailey, and Bill

the birth of their son, Jacob Lee, who was born April 2,
2001. He weighed 7 lbs. 15.6 oz. and was 18 3/4 inches long. Proud

born March 18, 2001. She weighed 6 lbs. 15 oz. and was 19 1/4 inches

son, Logan Cyrus, who was born March 23, 2001, at Cookeville
Regional Medical Center. He weighed 8 lbs., 15 oz. and was 21 inches
long. Proud grandparents are Bill and Bonnie Blair of Carthage and
Bob and Yvonne Pennington of Celina. He is the great grandson of
Ruth Cyrus. Also welcoming home the new arrival were his big sisters,
Morgan and Lyndsey.

the birth of their daughter, Abigail Mae, who was born March
14, 2001 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She weighed 7 lbs.,
2 oz. and was 20-1/2 inches long. Proud grandparents are Buddy and
Susan Ledbetter of Livingston, Larry and Marsha Adams of Celina,
and the late Daffo Adams.

are Agnes Wilson of Monterey and the late Hoyt Wilson, Jessie and

Weddings
Richardsons Renew Vows At 50th Wedding Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Denver Richard-son of Sparta were honored with a reception
to honor their 50th wedding anniversary, given by their children,
Charlie E. Richardson, Billy J. Richardson, and Fay Holman.
The couple was married in Livingston February 17, 1951, and marked
the special occasion by renewing their vows at the Oak Grove Church
of Christ in Sparta.
Bro. Joe Neal officiated at the ceremony with a reception following.
The Richardsons have three children, five grandchildren, and two
great grandchildren.
Louise is the daughter of Loucile Mullins of Sparta and the late
Marvin Mullins. The Mullins' were formerly of Allons.
Denver is the son of the late Billie and Mandie Richardson of Livingston.
They lived in Michigan for 14 years of their marriage before moving
to Sparta.
When they moved to Sparta, the Richardsons started a freight pallet
business. After Mr. RichardsonŐs retirement, one of his sons, Charlie,
and an uncle, Tom Mullins, began operating the business.

Miss Geesling And Mr. Stevens To Be United
In Marriage

Kenneth and Mary Geesling of Hilham proudly announce the engagement
and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kristy, to Brad Stevens,
son of Jody and Vicki Stevens of Livingston.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Walton and Anna
Geesling and Alex and Goolie Mae Sparks.
She is a 1996 graduate of Livingston Academy and a 1999 graduate
of Roane State Community College with an associate of Applied Science
in Nursing. She is employed at Livingston Regional Hospital.
The future groom is the grandson of Elise White and the late Beeland
White and Alf and Velma Stevens. He is a 1995 graduate of Livingston
Academy and is majoring in Management Information Systems at Tennessee
Technological University. He is currently employed at Service Transport.
The ceremony will be held June 2, 2001, at 2 p.m. at West End Church
of Christ.
All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
