Wreck Results In Fatality On Thanksgiving

A 43 year-old man was killed around 12:45 p.m. Thanksgiving Day in a single-vehicle accident that occurred on Dry Hollow Road.

According to reports, a 1995 GMC pick-up driven by Larry James Harris, of the Dry Hollow Community, was travelling westbound on Dry Hollow Road when the vehicle entered but failed to negotiate a curve.

The vehicle reportedly crossed to the opposite lane of the highway, struck a utility pole, and overturned, coming to rest on its top. Harris was ejected from the vehicle.
