Dayton Andrews was in Livingston Saturday on business.

Mr. and Mrs. James England visited at A.J. Beasley's last week-end.

Mr. and Mrs. Wint Breeding and family have moved from the William Cove to Mrs. J.P. Bilbrey's farm in Okolona.

Mrs. Abe Hawkins, of Hilham, spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Cope, of Allons.

Noah Maynard and Elbert Barlow were in Nashville Friday.

Bertha Brown, of Oak Grove, spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Brown.

Mable Cole spent last week with A.G. Halfacre.

Allene Garrett spent last week with relatives near Wirmingham.

The Sophomore class of Alpine High School entertained with a well-planned tacky party at the Girls' Cottage on Friday evening, December 4. Those present were: Lois Bilbrey, Edna Threet, Lou Ann McDonald, Ruby Beaty, Ida Mae Hull, Hazel Cronk, Opha Smith, Thelma Smith, Helen Copeland, Irene Copeland, Florence Mullins, Eula Miller, Plusie Carr, Cordie Phillips, Willie Sweat, Hanied Davis, Omer Boles, Gordon Ford, Harley Hicks, Amon Norris, Robert Winton, Russell White, James Bullock, Clifford Craw-ford, Ward Copeland, and J.M. Linder. Arlene Gillispe was the sponsor of the party.

Lorene and Robert Lee spent the night with Elsie and Clarence Hoover.

Leo Reed, of Rickman, spent Sunday in Allons.

Mrs. Ida Collins, who has been confined with rheumatism, is not so well.

Billie Holt was a dinner guest of Edna York Sunday.

Eva Jane Reagan, daughter of Mrs. Charles H. Reagan, was married at 9 o'clock Wednesday night to Otis Sells, of Philadelphia. The bride was attended by her twin sisters-in-law, Hallie and Allie Sells.
