A large docket faces the Overton County Criminal Court, which will convene Monday morning. According to Clerk Williams, they will present 115 cases for hearing, including 2 murder cases, those of Osco Walker and Billie Mack and Jack Ray. Walker is charged with the killing of his grandfather. The Ray boys are accused of killing their father, S.A. Ray.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Estel Story, of Clarktown, on October 10, a baby boy.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Levi Neal, of Bloomington, on October 10, a baby boy.

Huse Huddleston, of Smyrna, had a good mare to die last Wednesday.

Elsie Lee Webb, Myrtle Carr, Claude Carr, and Fred Webb visited Hilda Copeland Sunday evening.

Virgil Bilbrey, of Timothy, has the chicken pox.

Elmer Upton is having a well dug at his home in North Timothy.

Mrs. A.H. Roberts and Mrs. R.L. Burks were dinner guests of Mrs. A.J. Mofield Thursday.

Mrs. A.B. Qualls and little daughter, Betty, left Monday for a visit with Mrs. Qualls' father in Ohio.

Unkle Eph says, "A lot of men who boast about bein self maid dont seme tew reelize jest wot it iz tha have maid or tha woodnt be sew high hat about it."

Mr. and Mrs. John Coffman, of Livingston, are the proud parents of a baby girl.

Miss Willie Qualls spent Tuesday night with her aunt, Mrs. Martha Watkins, at Walnut Grove.

Zella Mae Carmack had a growth removed from her tongue Monday.

Henna Mae Matthews spent Wednesday at Bethlehem.

Booze Nivens has moved into his new house.

Lara Watkins, of Allons, is visiting relatives in Oneida.

Billy Vaughn, of Oakley, was in Allons one day last week.

Mrs. J.W. Hall, of Windle, has been very sick for the past few days.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Dool Story, on October 7, a baby girl.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Hershell Holt of the Miller's Mill community, on October 5, a baby boy.
