Lawrence Ray, of Cedar Grove, who has been in the hospital is getting along fine.

Lucinda Brown and sisters spent the week-end with Miss Vada Webb.

Bryant Gore was thrown from a mule one day last week and severely injured.

Miss Neta Tayes is suffering from a very painful bumble sting, in addition to a slight case of tonsilitis.

Sammie Webb has gone to the Government Hospital in Nashville for treatment.

Mr. and Mrs. L.M. Crawford, Harvey and Alex Qualls, and Mr. and Mrs. Fowler Crawford attended the State Fair last week.

Lucille Smith spent Sunday night with Della Gore.

Tobacco cutting in Windle has given way to making molasses. Truly the farmers of Windle are striving to "live at home" this winter.

T.G. Reed, of Byrdstown, was in Livingston last Saturday.

Miss Lou Buford, of Timothy, visited her sister, Miss Elizabeth Buford, at the Tennessee Polytechnic Institute Sunday.

James Hooten and wife visited Mouncy Gibbons recently.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Bill Franklin of Livingston, a baby boy.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Henderson Heard, of Monroe, a baby boy.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Fletcher, of Livingston, on September 19, a baby boy.

Mrs. Haskle Carr is improving slowly.

Mrs. Dorothy Upton, of Hilham, is the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Carmack.

The diptheria epidemic in Timothy is about over.

Julia Mee, of Hilham, died September 17th and was buried September 18th at the Good Hope Cemetery. She was a good girl and leaves many friends to mourn her loss.

Mouncy Gibbons and wife are the proud parents of a baby girl, born September 14.

Cecil Bilbrey visited his aunt, Mrs. Florence Harris, of Union Hill, last week-end.

Mrs. Pearl Elam and little daughter, of Walnut Grove, spent Saturday night with Mrs. Bailey Ogletree.

Zina Savage spent the week-end with homefolks.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Earl McAlpin, on September 20, a baby boy.

M.G. Wells, of Oak Hill, is visiting her sister, Mrs. Emma Carlock, near Memphis.

Byrdstown High School is getting along fine.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. William Thomas, of near Smyrna, on September 24, a baby boy.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Reagan, of Etter, on September 26, a baby boy.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Hassel Winningham, of Oak Grove, on September 26, a baby boy.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Duncan, of Oak Grove, on September 27, a baby boy.
