Orpha Ledbetter visited Mrs. Irving Hill last week-end.

A heavy shower of rain blessed Windle Friday afternoon.

Carrie Lee Crabtree is suffering painfully with a scratch on her ankle that got dew poisoned.

Gladys Ledbetter, Nona Morgan, and Marie Teeples were at Ozone Sunday.

Hormer Paul and Cordell Coleman visited on the head of Little Eagle Friday afternoon. They were speeding pretty fast as they went back.

David Stover and Bob Kyle spent Saturday night with Charlie Pryor.

Many attended the Fourth of July celebration in Livingston Saturday.

Mrs. Andrew Flatt and Miss Vera Young visited their brother, Tom Young at Alpine Sunday.

Miss Almedia Lee, who had been sick for several weeks, died and was buried at the cemetery in Okolona Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Thompson, of Willow Grove, are the proud parents of a baby boy, born July 5.

Mrs. W.H. Boswell entertained Sunday with a birthday dinner in honor of her husband's 52nd birthday. Those attending were Mr. Boswell, his aged father, George Boswell, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Copeland and two children, and Miss Jessie Sells.

Beatrice McDonald, of Crawford, visited Miss Frances Officer Saturday.

W.A. Brown, manager of Brown Freight Line, was in Nashville Sunday and Monday on business.

Mary Price Miller, who has been visiting her brother, Dewitt, in Jacksonville, Fla., is at home.

Rose McCormick is visiting her sister, Mrs. William Winnington, at Twinton.

Mattie Sue Cooper is visiting her sister, Mrs. G.C. Peek, this week.

Mrs. Alba Livingston, of Oak Hill, visited Mrs. J.E. Jones Sunday afternoon.

Morris Jolley, son of Luther Jolly, of Lovelady, and Miss Gladys Lee, daughter of Mrs. Ida Lee, of Lovejoy, were married at Albany, Ky., Tuesday night.

Ova and Opal Sells spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Ben Story, of Moodyville.
