Donald and Kyla Shock of Livingston proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Savannah Jean, who was born October 27, 2000. She weighed 9 lbs. 12 oz. and was 20 3/4 inches long. Proud grandparents are Lester and Patsy Shock and Gloria and Jim Taylor. Also welcoming home the new arrival was her sister, Krystina.

William "Bill" and Amber Smithers of Monroe proudly announce the birth of their son, Richard Thomas, who was born October 21, 2000. He weighed 7 lbs. 7.1 oz. and was 18 3/4 inches long. Proud grandparents are Gene and Rita Lowe of Monroe and Willie and Barbara Smithers of Byrdstown. Proud great grandparents are Loretta and the late August Smithers of Ohio, Bud and Patsy Oswalt of Indiana, and Dorthy and Don Oliver of Indiana. Also welcoming home the new arrival were his sisters, Victoria and Tiffany.

Jimmy and Angie King of Hilham proudly announce the birth of their son, Joshua Tyler, who was born October 22, 2000. He weighed 5 lbs. 13 oz. and was 19.5 inches long. Proud grandparents are Willene Thompson and Grace King. He is the great grandson of Mayhue Masters.

Daniel and Michelle Colson of Allons proudly announce the birth of their son, Calvin Curtis, who was born October 30, 2000. He weighed 7 lbs. 15.9 oz. and was 21 inches long. Proud grandparents are Doyle and Rita Colson and Billy and Jean Copeland.

Eugene and Joyce Dial of Livingston proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Leslie Jade, who was born October 20, 2000. She is the granddaughter of Dollie Ramsey.

Kelly and Amanda Spivey of Celina proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Elizabeth Kelly, who was born October 27, 2000. She weighed 7 lbs. 2 oz. and was 20 inches long. Proud grandparents are Butch and Joan Burnette and Jewell and Malcom Spivey. Also welcoming home the new arrival was her uncle Joseph Burnette, and her aunt, Cathy Spivey.

Amanda Lawson of Gainesboro and Jerry Allen Sparks of Livingston proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Brandi Kathleen Sparks, who was born October 25, 2000. She weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz. and was 19 inches long. Proud grandparents are Mary Lawson, Gainesboro, John Lawson, OH, Mary Sparks, NC, and Charles Sparks, IN. Also welcoming home the new arrival was her big sister, Mary Lee Sparks.

Billy Joe and Karen Lee Copeland of Livingston proudly announce the birth of their son, Jerimiah Lee Copeland, who was born October 27, 2000. He weighed 10 lbs. 2 oz. and was 22 1/2 inches long. Proud grandparents are Pug and Barb Lee and Jesse Joe and Barbara Copeland. Also welcoming home the new arrival was his great grandmother, Mary Melton and his big brother, Jesse.

Steve and Wendy Robbins of Rickman proudly announce the birth of their son, Sawyer Stephen, who was born October 16, 2000, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He weighed 6 lbs. 4 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. Proud grandparents are Delon and Margie Robbins, Carolyn Peterman all of Livingston, and Gerald Peterman of Allons. Proud great grandparents are Hugh and Lucille Peterman of Allons, A.G. and Cordie Norrod of Monroe, and Willie Hugh Robbins of Timothy. Also welcoming home the new arrival was big sister Brea.

Weddings

Miss Scott And Mr. Roberts Exchange Wedding Vows

Rhonda Carol Scott of Livingston, given in marriage by her father, became the bride of Bobby Allen Roberts of Livingston Saturday, September 16, 2000, at the First United Methodist Church. Reverend Ronald Whited officiated the 1 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Faye Anderson and Donald George of Livingston. She is the granddaughter of the late Mitchell and Bessie Ayers.

The groom is the son of Pat Roberts of Livingston and Bobby and Donna Roberts of Tazewell. He is the grandson of Jean Roberts of Tazewell and the late Junior Roberts and Billy and Lois Seber.

Serving as maid of honor was cousin, Shannon Smith of Livingston and bridesmaids included Christy Wright of Livingston and Tonya Capps of Burksville, KY. Chasity Smith, daughter of Shannon Smith of Livingston, served as flower girl.

Serving as best man was Steve "Peachy" Reagan of Rickman, and groomsmen included Ricky Roberts, Birmingham, AL, and Jamie Roberts, Tazewell. Ushers were Shawn Roberts, Chris Jolly, and Jason Roberts, all of Tazewell. Taylor Thompson, son of Lori and Bennie Thompson of Livingston, served as ring bearer.

A reception was held following the ceremony in the Fellowship Hall at the church. Alisa Eldridge, sister of the bride, and Wendy Riddle, cousin of the bride, served as guest register attendants.

After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, SC, the couple now resides in Livingston.

Special out-of-town guests were Mark Hambridge of Canberra, Australia; Charles and Nadine Roberts, Lynn, Penny, Megan, Trey, and Katlynn Treece, Crystal Roberts, and Ralph Roberts, all of Tazewall; Julie Roberts, Birmingham, AL; Ruby Moore, Knoxville; Carol Fiske, Memphis; and Meredith Bare, Nashville.

Miss Hughes And Mr. Beaty To Be Joined In Marriage

Rick and Sandy Hughes of Livingston proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amy Mechelle, to Jonathan Wayne Beaty, son of Richard Beaty and Ginger Beaty of Monroe. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Billy and Cora Daniels of Monroe and Howard Hughes and the late Stella Hughes of Allons.

She is enrolled in cosmetology at the Tennessee Technology Center in Livingston.

The groom is the grandson of Willie and Grace Beaty of Monroe and Mazelle and the late A.C. Melton.

He is employed by LoJac Enterprises.

The wedding will be held at First Assembly of God Thursday, December 9, 2000, at 1 p.m.

Miss Montgomery And Mr. Hibbs To Unite In Marriage Dec. 15

Tina Hibbs, of Livingston, is pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her son, Chris Hibbs, to Emily Montgomery, daughter of the late Larry and Pam Montgomery.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Betty Flatt and the late Mitchell Flatt and Magdalene Montgomery of Granville and the late David Montgomery.

The future groom is the son of the late Tom Hibbs. He is the grandson of the late Bill and Marine Garrett, Leonard and Dean Hibbs of Livingston, and the late Sue Hibbs.

The ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2000, at the Allons Church of Christ in Allons.
