Ricky and Jennifer Melton of Allons proudly announce
the birth of their daughter, Makenzie Brooke, who was born
October 19, 2000. She weighed 7 lbs. 7 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches
long. Proud grandparents are Tommy and Jeanne Key of New Castle,
IN, Jewell Melton of Allons and the late J.R. Melton. She is the
great granddaughter of Olyne Dick of New Castle.
Larry II and Alisa Eldridge of Livingston proudly
announce the birth of their daughter, Aleia Megan, who was
born October 19, 2000. She weighed 8 lbs. 10.8 oz. and was 21 inches
long. Proud grandparents are Donald George, Larry and Sue Eldridge,
Faye Anderson, and the late Norman Scott.
David and Christy Bull of Gainesboro proudly announce
the birth of their son, Brian Jordan, who was born October
14, 2000. He weighed 6 lbs. 8.5 oz. and was 18 1/2 inches long.

17, 2000. She weighed 7 lbs. 6.8 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long.

She is the great granddaughter of Liz Betten-court of Livingston
and Muriel Nimmo of North Carolina. Also welcoming home the new
arrival was her big sister, Allison.
Clifford and Velena Walker of Livingston proudly announce
the birth of their son, Elijah Matthew, who was born October
19, 2000. He weighed 8 lbs. 11.2 oz. and was 21 inches long. Proud
grandparents are J.T. and Charlotte Foster of Willow Grove and Alvin
Walker of Highland Mountain and the late Eudean Walker. Also welcoming
home the new arrival was his brother, Jacob.

Stephens, who was born May 24, 2000, at Cumberland Medical
Center. She weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz. and was 20 1/4 inches long. Proud
grandparents are Richard and Virginia West of Pall Mall, Bruce Peterman
of Allons, and Bill and Kathryn Stephens of Crossville. She is the
great granddaughter of Sylvia Peterman of Allons and the niece of
John and Maria Stephens of Rome, GA, and Blaine Peterman of Allons.

Beaty and Mr. Eldrdige To Hold December Ceremonmy
Robert and Annette Beaty of Oneida announce the engagement and
forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Karen Elizabeth Beaty, of
Knoxville, to Mark Eldridge, son of Harrison and Marie Eldridge
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Kathleen Beaty of Jamestown
and the late Houston Beaty, and the late Bryan and Iva Frazier.
She is a 1990 graduate of Oneida High School and a 1994 graduate
of Maryville College. She is employed as the director of news and
sports information at her alma mater.
The future groom is the grandson of Myrtle Hammons of Rickman and
the late Zeb Hammons and the late Jarvie and Nellie Eldridge.
He is a 1982 graduate of Livingston Academy and holds a degree
from Bethel College in McKenzie and Tennessee Technological University.
He previously served as the head boys' basketball coach at Oneida
High School and is currently heading the boys' basketball program
at Anderson County High School.
The couple will exhange vows Saturday, December 16, 2000, in the
Center for Campus Ministry at Maryville College in Maryville.
A small wedding with close family and friends is planned.
