Joshua and Patricia Maulding of Cookeville proudly announce the birth of their son, Joshua Steven Maulding Jr., who was born June 23, 2000, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He weighed 6 lbs. 11 oz. and was 19 inches long. Proud grandparents are Pam Corwin of Cookeville and Thomas and Pat Maulding of Livingston.

Weddings

Miss Rhoton And Mr. Geesling Hold June Wedding Ceremony

Amanda Rhoton, given in marriage by her father and her son, Dylan Geesling, became the bride of Scott Geesling of Hilham Friday, June 16, 2000, at Standing Stone State Park Tea Room. Tracy Langford officiated the 5:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Gwen Rhoton of Celina and the granddaughter of Robert and Virginia Smith and Flora Rhoton. She is the great granddaughter of Christine Capps.

The groom is the son of Charles and Nelda Geesling of Hilham.

Serving as maid of honor was sister of the bride, Amy Rhoton of Celina, and bridesmaids were friends of the bride, Star Bilbrey of Hilham, and Angie Roberts of Celina. Niece of the bride, Allie Rhoton, daughter of Amy Rhoton, served as flower girl.

Serving as best man was Jason Bilbrey of Hilham. Groomsmen were Tim Barnes and David Clouse. Nephew of the groom, Ethan Geesling, served as ring bearer.

Tara Langford served as guest register attendant.

A reception followed the ceremony. Lisa Poindexter and Shirley Dailey were the servers.

The couple resides in Hilham.

 

 

Engagements

Miss Emery And Mr. Norris To Exchange November Vows

 

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Mathis of Cookeville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Nichole Emery, to Steve Norris, son of Hilda Norris of Alpine and the late Ian Norris.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Ila Ray Emery of Cookeville and the late Robert Emery and Bernard and Gladys Vincent.

The future groom is the grandson of the late Porter and Sally Norris and the late Jesse James and Stella Copeland.

She is a 1995 graduate of Cookeville High School and a 1999 graduate of Tennessee Technological University with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. She is employed at Averitt Express.

He is a 1991 graduate of Livingston Academy and is employed at Tennessee Technological University.

The 2 p.m. ceremony will be held Saturday, November 11, 2000, at West View Baptist Church in Cookeville.

All friends and family are invited to attend the ceremony.
