Jamie and Nicole Key of Gainesboro Highway proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Valerie Nicole, who was born July 27, 2000. She weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz. and was 20 inches long. Proud grandparents are Edward and Mary Short, Sandra Hargis, and Junior B. Hargis.

Matthew and Amy Harvey of Allons proudly announce the birth of their son, Donovan Matthew, who was born July 17, 2000. He weighed 7 lbs. 2.7 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. Proud grandparents are Larry and Debbie Stone of Celina and Ann Bilbrey of Livingston. Proud great grandmother is Cora Waddell of Allons. He is the nephew of Brandon Martin of Allons.

Dusty and Chastity Hammock of Livingston proudly announce the birth of their son, Dakota James, who was born July 27, 2000. He weighed 6 lbs. 14.4 oz. and was 20 inches long. Proud grandparents are Freddie and Debbie Looper and Jimmy and Becky Hammock. Proud great grandparents are Ted and Dimple Ledbetter, Oral and Gladys Looper, and Dan and Lucille Buck. Miss Curtis And Mr. Sidwell To Exchange October Vows

Tommy and Debbie Curtis of Baxter announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, April Diane, to Derek Edward Sidwell, son of Gary and Tammy Sidwell of Willow Grove.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Tommie and Marie Curtis of Cookeville and Iva Dee Hicks of Baxter and Ralph Wilmoth of Cookeville.

The future groom is the grandson of Melvin and Betty Hummel of Willow Grove, Bernice Sidwell of Livingston, and the late Willie E. Sidwell.

The ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2000, at McBroom Chapel Church of Christ in Cookeville.
