Birth Announcements from Livingston Regional Hospital

Anthony and Amy Coffee of McMinnville proudly announce the birth of their son, C.J., who was born July 17, 2000. He weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz. and was 20 inches long. Proud grandparents are Dolphus Coffee, Janet Stafford and Charles and Marie Sidwell.

Chad and Myla Leffew of Pall Mall proudly announce the birth of their son, Landrick Duncan, who was born July 11, 2000. He weighed 9 lbs. 7 oz. and was 21 inches long. Grandparents are Ricky and Penny Leffew, Glenn and Debbie Lackey, and the late Mike Moon.

Heath Guerrero and Jennifer Croy of Monroe proudly announce the birth of their son, Successor Anthony, who was born June 17, 2000. He weighed 5 lbs. 6.3 oz. and was 19 inches long. Proud grandparents are Don and Ruth Gaw, Brian Croy, and Rebecca Roberts.

Glen Delk and Chandra Copeland of Livingston proudly announce the birth of their son, Caleb Allen, who was born July 12, 2000. He weighed 7 lbs. 1.3 oz and was 19 1/4 inches long. Proud grandparents are Johnnie and Janice Delk of Jamestown, Charles and Virginia Scantland of Gainesboro, and Kenneth and Gearldean Bilbrey of Livingston. Also welcoming home the new arrival was his big brother, Jesse.

Joseph and Monica Garrett of Byrdstown proudly announce the birth of their son, Bailey Blain, who was born July 16, 2000. He weighed 7 lbs 12.4 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. Proud grandparents are Maxie Beaty, Mike and Vicki Sims, and Wayne and Betty Garrett. Also welcoming home the new arrival were his brother, Nathan, and sister, Taylor.

Scott Murphy and Bertha Lawson of Gainesboro proudly announce the birth of their son, Timothy Scott, Jr., who was born July 7, 2000. He weighed 8 lbs. 10 oz. and was 21 1/2 inches long. Proud grandparents are John and Kathy Lawson and Timmy and Gail Murphy, all of Jackson County. Proud great grandparents are R.S. and Edith Murphy of Rickman and Great Granny Crabtree of Hilham. The baby is the great-great grandson of the proud Granny McDonald of Livingston and Great-Great Granny Linder of Linder Mountain.

Tim and Charlene Dulworth of Celina proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Harley Michelle, who was born July 7, 2000. She weighed 8 lbs. 11.3 oz. and was 21 3/4 inches long. Proud grandparents are J.R. and Lee Ida Dulworth of Celina, Polly Netherton of Cookeville, and Ermon and Alice Netherton of Red Boiling Springs. Also welcoming home the new arrival were her brothers, Jordan Dulworth of Allons and Andy Davis of Celina, and two sisters, Laninka and Lakeshia Davis, both of Celina.

Greg and Crystal Troxell of Pall Mall proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Brittany Danielle, who was born July 14, 2000. She weighed 6 lbs. 15.4 oz. and was 20 inches long. Proud grandparents are Alan and Sue Troxell, Leisha Bozza, and Ricky Johnson. She is the niece of Jennifer Delk, Latonya Johnson, and Jeff Troxell. Also welcoming home the new arrival was her big sister, Lakeisha Troxell.

 

Cookeville

Tim and Jennifer Hall proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Emmalee Victoria, who was born July 2, 2000 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She weighed 8 lbs. 1 oz. and was 20 3/4 inches long. Proud grandparents are Glenn and Fredia Clark of Rickman and Louis and Carol Hall of Allons. Also welcoming home the new arrival were her two sisters, Christina and Kayla, and her brother, Kaleb.

 

Chattanooga

Ronald and Kristy Garrett Nail proudly announce the birth of their son, Garrett Wayne, who was born Monday, Aug. 7 at Women East Pavilion in Chattanooga. He weighed 9 lbs. 7 oz. and was 21 1/2 inches long. Proud grandparents are Jerry and Colene Garrett of Livingston, David and Winona Adcock of Walling, and Ronnie Nail of Pikeville. Proud great grandparents are Elsie Garrett of Livingston and Odis and Daisy Prater of Pikeville.

Weddings

Miss King And Mr. Norris United In Marriage July 5

Jennifer King of Alpine, given in marriage by her father, became the bride of Micheal Norris of Alpine Wednesday, July 5 at a cabin on Dale Hollow Lake. Vicki Craig officiated the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Brenda Walker of Leesburg, FL, and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Bohanon and the late Willie and Nettie Lee.

The groom is the son of Linda Likovich and Larry Norris, both of Livingston. He is the grandson of Charles and Lucille Linder and the late Dude and Jewell Norris.

Serving as maid of honor was daughter of the bride, Brittany King, and the bridesmaid was Kellie Talley.

Shelby Norris, Megan Talley, and Caitlin Coleman served as flower girls.

Serving as best man was Mark Linder.

 

 

 

Miss Roberts And Mr. Butler Exchange Vows In Jamaica

Misty Necole Roberts of Chattanooga became the bride of Randall Kyle Butler of Chattanooga June 27, 2000, at Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica. Yarmon Higgins officiated at the 3:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Kathy Allred of Livingston and Steve Roberts of Doyle. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby L. Roberts and Mr. And Mrs. Charles Henry.

The groom is the son of Wallace and Clydean Butler of Cookeville. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Peek and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Butler, Sr.

She is a 1995 graduate of White County High School. She currently attends University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, majoring in Business Management, and is employed by Union Planters Bank.

He is a 1997 graduate of Tennessee Tech University with a masters degree in Business Administration. He is employed by Hazlett, Lewis and Buter, PIIC in Chatttanooga. Musical selections for the ceremony included classical music, "Amazed" by Lonestar, "From This Moment"by Shania Twain, and Jamaican reggae music.

The bride's dress was a floor-length white satin crepe. The bodice was beaded with a flowing trail of pearls down the back with satin and pearl beads. The veil was sheer chiffon with pearls and a beaded headpiece with a long train.

The bride carried a bouquet of fuchia orchids, baby's breath and greenery.

Her jewelry consisted of a pearl bracelet and earrings.

A reception was held following the ceremony at the Dunn's River Resort in the garden area.

The tables were decorated with lace tablecloths and live flowers and petals.

The bride's table was decorated with a white two-tier cake, a Jamaican rum wedding cake and a white linen tablecloth with live tropical flowers.

The servers were island resort workers.

The couple now resides in Chattanooga.

Miss Hooten And Mr. Kernell To Exchange September 2 Vows

Jack and Diane Hooten of Hilham announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Theresa, to Micheal Kernell, son of Mike Kernell of Allons and Elizbeth Cravens of Hilham.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mildren Hooten, Jack Bazil, and the late Oval Hooten and Mary Bazil.

The groom is the grandson of Leon and Elise Kernell and the late Annie Brown. She is a 1997 graduate of Livingston Academy. He received his GED in 1998 from Reach Academy.

The ceremony is planned for 4 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 2000, at the Livingston Church of God. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.

 

Miss Stewart, Mr. Newcom Plan September 9 Wedding

David Stewart of Cookeville and Faye Stewart of Smyrna announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amy Stewart, to Clint Newcom, son of Michael Newcom and Susan Newcom of Murfreesboro.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ellen Prichard of Whiteside, Marie Moore of Livingston, and the late Leslie Prichard.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Denver and Virginia McCabe of Marion, KY, and the late Elmer Newcom. She is a graduate of Marion County High School and Middle Tennessee State University.

He is a graduate of Mahomet Seymour High School and Middle Tennessee State University. He is presently employed at Universal Music Publishing in Nashville.

The wedding is planned for noon Saturday, September 9, 2000, at the Garden Plaza Hotel in Murfreesboro.
