Richard Dishman and Katy Peiffer of Livingston proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Alidia Dawn, who was born June 15, 2000. She weighed 8 lbs. 9.4 oz. and was 21 inches long. Proud grandparents are Susan Peiffer, Tina Peiffer, Eric Peiffer, and Rita Braswell.

Wedding

Miss Camp And Mr. Fox Exchange Wedding Vows

Kristy Ann Camp of Nashville, given in marriage by her father, became the bride of Dr. Daniel Wade Fox of Nashville Saturday, April 8, 2000, at the Wrightman Chapel of Scarritt Bennet in Nashville. Reverend Richard Elserood officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Gail Ann Martin of Allons and Kenneth Starr Camp of Hendersonville. She is the granddaughter of Gene and Bernice Martin of Allons and Dempsie and Lucille Camp of Signal Mountain.

She received a bachelor of science degree from Belmont University and is currently employed as a registered nurse in cardiac critical care.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Fox of Hanceville, AL.

He received a bachelor of science degree from Birmingham Southern College, followed by his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and is currently employed as a doctor of internal medicine.

The church was decorated with roses of various sizes in different shades of pink.

Musical selections for the ceremony included "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" by Bach, "Kanon in D" by Pachelbel, "In This Very Room" by Harris, "Sin fonie de Fan Fare" by Mouret, and "Hornpipe (Water Music)" by Handel, all played by organist Jennie Smith and accompanied by violinist Denise Baker.

Other musical selections included "Trumpet Voluntary" by Purcell, played by trumpeter David Fox, "Thinking of You" by Fox, played by Daniel Fox, and "The Lord's Prayer" by Malotte, sung by vocalist Lynn Adelman.

The bride's dress was a floor-length white satin gown with spaghetti straps and a fitted bodice accented with pearls. She wore a rhinestone and pearl headpiece with an 8 foot white veil. Her jewelry consisted of drop pearl earrings with diamond accents.

She carried a bouquet of roses in various shade of pink and baby's breath.

Serving as maid of honor was sister of the bride, Sarah Gail Camp of Allons and bridesmaids included Duffy Betterton of Nashville, Diane Copeland of Monroe, and Gina Tschanz of Knoxville, all wearing pink gowns of a Vera Wang pattern and carrying bouquets in various shades of pink. Cassondra Gore, daughter of Mark and Lydia Gore of Independence, served as flower girl.

Serving as best man was Marion Fox, father of the groom, and groomsmen included Adam Bordon, John Noel Swafford, and Alex Wall. Jacob Wall, son of Matthew Wall, served as ring bearer.

A reception was held following the ceremony at the Boundry Restaurant. Jessica Swafford and Jennifer Story served as guest register attendants.

After a wedding trip to Kauai, HI, the couple now resides in Waynesville, NC.

Engagements

Miss Scott And Mr. Roberts To Exchange September Vows

Faye Anderson and Donald George, both of Livingston, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Rhonda Carol Scott, to Bobby Allen Roberts, son of Patricia Roberts of Livingston and Bobby and Donna Roberts of Tazewell.

The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Norman "Jughead" Scott and the granddaughter of the late Mitchell and Bessie Ayers and Luke and Della Scott.

The groom is the grandson of Jean "Toots" Roberts of Tazewell, and the late Junior Roberts and Billy and Lois Seber.

She is a 1992 graduate of Livingston Academy.

He is a 1990 graduate of Claiborne County High.

The wedding is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, September 16, 2000, at the First United Methodist Church in Livingston.
