The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hammock of Monroe. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Shipley of Knoxville. He is employed with the Knox County SheriffŐs Department. After a wedding trip to San Juan, St. Thomas, and Nassau, the couple now resides in Knoxville.

She is a 1999 graduate of Livingston Academy and is presently a sophomore pre-nursing major at Tennessee Technological University. She is currently employed in the PresidentŐs Office at Tennessee Tech. He is a 1994 graduate of Livingston Academy. He is currently employed as a plant operator for LoJac Enterprises of Lebanon. The wedding is planned for 6 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2000, at Oak Hill United Methodist Church in Rickman. All friends and family are invited to attend.
