Rayvin Grace Rauch
Funeral services for Miss Rayvin Grace Rauch, 8, were conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2000, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Naegele, Kleb & Ihlendorf Funeral Home of Norwood, OH, was in charge of the arrangements, with local arrangements handled by Livingston Funeral Home.

Miss Rauch died Saturday, August 5, 2000, in Byrdstown.

She was the daughter of Robert E. Rauch of Norcross, GA, and Ayesha Arriaga Cruz of Detroit, MI.

Survivors, in addition to her parents, include her step-father, Adolfo Cruz, Detroit, MI; paternal grandparents, Frank and Hazel Rauch, Byrdstown; maternal grandparents, Miguel Arriaga and Gladys Gonzelez, both of Oklahoma City, OK; and half sister, Jacinda Cruz.

 

Eugene Debs Gaw
Funeral services for Mr. Eugene Debs Gaw, 92, of Hilham, were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2000, from the chapel of Allens Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Sullivan and Rev. Earl Williams officiating. Burial was in Allens Chapel Cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Gaw, a produce worker with Gaw's Produce, died Wednesday, August 3, 2000, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

Born July 28, 1908, in Overton County, he was the son of the late James Irby and Martha (Maxwell) Gaw.

He was of the Freewill Baptist faith.

Survivors include a nephew, Bruce Gaw of Hilham.

 

Clara Deane (Looper) Qualls
Graveside services for Mrs. Clara Deane (Looper) Qualls, 85, of Nashville and formerly of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 2000, from Good Hope Cemetery with Dr. Joe Stacker officiating. Woodlawn Funeral Home of Nashville was in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Qualls, a retired teacher and homemaker, died Monday, July 31, 2000. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey L. Qualls.

She was a member of Belmont Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Sam L. and Marti Qualls, Atlanta, GA, and Robert E. and Judith Qualls, Philadelphia, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Susie (Qualls) and Mike Pennington, Austin, TX; two sisters, Capitola Looper, and Joanna Stockton; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Mike Pennington, Richard Qualls, Douglas Qualls, David Qualls, Mark Qualls, and Steven Pennington.

 

Lillian Emma Vaughn
Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Emma Vaughn, 68, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2000, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Clayton officiating. Burial was in the Fiske Cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Vaughn, a factory worker, died Wednesday, August 3, 2000, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

Born January 16, 1932, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Troy and Della (Greenwood) Ledbetter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Ledbetter and R.D. Ledbetter; and a sister, Lela Ledbetter.

She was a member of the Christ Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Vaughn, Livingston; a daughter, Jenny Boles, Hilham; a brother, J.C. Ledbetter, Murfreesboro; and two grandchildren, Joel Boles and Jeremy Boles, both of Hilham.

Pallbearers were Kevin Burchett, Jeff Hammock, Mike Winningham, Billy Burchett, Bee Hammock, and Benny Sells.
