Charles Robert McGee
Charles Robert McGee, 69, of Livingston, died Thursday, October
21, 1999, at Livingston Regional Hospital.
Born March 21, 1930, in Dawson Springs, KY, he was the son of the
late Roy C. and Ruby Jane (Casteel) McGee. In addition to his parents,
he was preceded in death by a son, Steven D. McGee.
He was an aircraft and auto mechanic and served in the United States
Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Bricie Chestolene (Harris) McGee, Livingston;
two daughters, Glenda L. ÒMrs. James E.Ó Tinsley, Livingston, and
Elaine Pinkowski, Salt Lake City, UT; a son and daughter-in-law,
Michael Joseph and Sue McGee, Livingston; three sisters, Dorris
Jackson, Madisonville, KY, Alcova Menser, Dawson Springs, KY, and
Ruth Carter, Caroltin, TX; a brother, Billy McGee, Micshawaka, IN;
eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
John Marshall Randles
Graveside services for Mr. John Marshall Randles, 39, of Livingston,
were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, October 25, 1999, from Campground
Cemetery with Aaron Dillon officiating. Livingston Funeral Home
was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Randles, a truck driver, died Saturday, October 23, 1999, at
Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga.
Born February 17, 1960, in Chardon, OH, he was the son of Accellea
(Webb) Randles of Livingston and the late Phillip James Randles.
He was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
Survivors in addition to his mother include a son, Johnathan Randles,
West Virginia; and two brothers, Phillip Randles, Allons, and Jerry
Randles, Rickman.
Nolan Royce Hinson
Funeral services for Mr. Nolan Royce Hinson, 77, of Clay County,
were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 1999, from the chapel
of Upton Funeral Home with Dennis Miller officiating. Burial was
in Moss Cemetery in Moss with Upton Funeral Home in charge of the
arrangements.
Mr. Hinson, a rural mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Department,
died October 21, 1999, at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.
Born September 4, 1922, in Moss, he was the son of the late Hiram
Bethel Hinson and Lela Jewell Yates Hinson. In addition to his parents,
he was preceded in death by a brother, Kuell Hinson; and a sister,
Alma Clark.
He was affiliated with the Moss Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Addie Burnette Hinson, three
sons, Jeffery Hinson, Loxunburg, Germany, Roger Hinson, Baton Rouge,
LA, and David Hinson, Mt. Juliet; two daughters, Sarah Lancaster,
Monroe, NC, and Suzanne Goolsby, Mt. Juliet; two brothers, Russel
Hinson, Chattanooga, and Arron Yates Hinson, Tompkinsville, KY;
11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Larry Marvin Brown
Funeral services for Mr. Larry Marvin Brown, 61, of Livingston,
were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 1999, from the chapel
of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Malcolm Dulworth officiating. Burial
was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Speck Funeral Home in
charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Brown, a farmer, died Friday, October 22, 1999, at Livingston
Regional Hospital.
Born October 15, 1938, in Overton County, he was the son of the
late Marvin Dee and Tissie White Brown.
He attended Fredonia Community Church.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Brown, Livingston; a son, Greg
Brown, Livingston; a daughter and son-in-law, Gena and Kevin Norrod,
Manchester; a sister, Joanna Coleman, Livingston; a grandson, Colton
Norrod.
Pallbearers were Doug Ledbetter, Ronnie Sells, Bill Boswell, Cameron
Bates, Bob Bilbrey, and Casey Hunter.
Fred Davis
Funeral services for Mr. Fred Davis, 68, of Livingston, were conducted
at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 1999, from the chapel of Speck
Funeral Home with Rev. Dewey Glenn Masters and Rev. Tracy Langford
officiating. Burial was in Old Union Cemetery with Speck Funeral
Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Davis, a retired employee of Tennessee Technological University
maintenance department, died Thursday, October 21, 1999, at Livingston
Regional Hospital.
Born in March of 1931, he was the son of the late Andy and Hazel
Brown Davis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death
by four brothers, James Davis, Herb Davis, Roy Davis, and Carl Davis.
He was a member of Aarons Chapel Community Church.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Davis, Livingston; two sons
and daughters-in-law, Benny and Rita Davis, Livingston, and Danny
and Bonnie Davis, Celina; two brothers, Pete Davis and Sam Davis,
both of Hilham; three sisters, Bonnie Edmonds, HardyÕs Chapel Community,
Bobbie Mabery, Detroit, MI, and Barbara Danner, Livingston; and
three grandchildren, Shannan Davis, Amy Allred, and Moncia Weir.
Pallbearers were Ben Danner, Doug Davis, David Davis, Donald Davis,
Ricky Sells, Keith Brown, and Steve Greenwood.
