Good Neighbors Theatre will present Eva LeGallienne and Florida Friebus’ adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s classic “Alice in Wonderland” on July 26, 27, 28, and August 1, 2, and 3.
The production will be under the direction of Daniel Poore and Amanda Hatfield, and is produced in cooperation with Samuel French Inc. Poore, of Cookeville, is a theatre major at Union University. Hatfield currently serves as GNT vice president and received her bachelor’s degree in theatre from Campbellsville University.

Nashville Ballet’s 2013-2014 performance season will include a new partnership with pop musician Ben Folds and a world premiere of a new production of “Peter Pan,” according to a release from the ballet. Season tickets are scheduled to go on sale Monday, June 3.

As our world is now enmeshed in computer technology, photographers and viewers grapple with issues of altered photos. Is it right or is it wrong? Seeing brilliant colors or images one thinks can’t be seen in real life, makes the viewer second-guess about what has that been done by the photographer “after” any picture was digitally captured. The term “photo-shopped,” used as a verb based the popular Adobe software Photoshop, is bantered around as if images that have used photo-altering software are less authentic, a form of cheating, and even an indication that a photographer might be less-skilled to resort to altering an image to get it to look good.
