Members of the Tennessee Central Xpress football team pose at Livingston City Hall recently. The professional development minor league team will be playing its home games at Livingston Academy’s football field this season, starting with its first home game to be held Saturday, May 18.
Tennessee Central Xpress, a minor league football team, will be calling Tom Davis Stadium its home field this season.

The Livingston Academy softball team has been underestimated this season, mainly because of their district record. Although they did not sweep the district tournament, the Lady Cats got their chance to show that statistics are not everything.

Usually when a team closes out the year winning three of four games, they are still playing in the post-season. Unfortunately for Livingston Academy, that is not the case.
After an up and down year, Livingston had to play in four straight “win or go home” games in the District 8AA Tournament after dropping their opening game of the tournament to the number three seeded DeKalb County Tigers.
