The 64th annual Franklin Rodeo will barrel out of the chutes at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, May 16-18 at Williamson County Agricultural Expo Center.
The rodeo is the largest pro rodeo in the state. More than 300 bull riders, barrel racers, bronco riders, ropers, and wrestlers will compete for prize money and the coveted gold buckle.
Three days of rodeo is more than horses and bulls.
Preceding the rodeo are the Roundup Party on Friday, May 3 at the Factory in Jamison Hall and the annual Franklin Rodeo Parade on Saturday, May 11.
The rodeo is an annual fundraiser for Franklin Noon Rotary Club. Fans’ presence at the rodeo raises funds for more than 20 charities across the area. In the past 63 years, the rodeo has raised over $2 million for charities.
